Butterfly had been shopping with her brother a few days ago and hadn't heard from him since. She was so worried. He had told her that he would come by to visit often and it had been three days since she had seen him last. She decided to go and see if he was with Tses or if she knew where he was. Butterfly had remembered the building that Ty had kept looking at on their way to the apartment he showed her. She headed toward the building, hoping that maybe Tses would come out or that she could find her someway. She didn't even know what Tses looked like, but maybe she could ask people and she could find her. Butterfly got to the building and waited at the front door, but no one came out. She then started to walk around the building, thinking that maybe there was another entrance or way that Tses got out the building. She was walking down the street along the side of the building with the fire escape when she saw someone climbing down it. She looked up and called up to her, "Tses?" She hoped that she was who she was looking for. She really wanted to find her brother.

Butterfly followed him to the checkout counter and looked at a clock when Ty mentioned the fact that they had spent most of the day at the mall already. Upon hearing him say this and seeing that indeed Ty was right, Butterfly responded with, "Wow, we have been here for a while. But it's been so much fun spending time with you. I hope you've been having as much fun as I have, Ty." And when Ty said that he wanted to go to one more store, Butterfly said, "Alright." and followed him to where he wanted to go. She saw that he wanted to go to the Aeropostale and walked through the door and went with him to the men's section. She wasn't a really big fan of Aeropostale, so she didn't really look around at any women's clothing, but maybe Ty would find something he liked. She looked around the section to try and find something that Ty might like.

Butterfly gave the shades to Ty and knew the instant he put them on that they would look good on him. She smiled when Ty seemed to really like them and upon being asked what she thought, Butterfly told him "They look really good on you. You should totally get them. They make you look totally badass."
Butterfly looked around for a pair for her, but she didn't know if she really wanted a pair or not. She never really wore shades. After a few minutes of contemplating and coming to the conclusion that she didn't want a pair, she turned to Ty and asked if he was done and what he wanted to do next.

Butterfly listened to Regan speak about being lonely. She knew how that felt. She fluttered through the door as Regan held it open for her. She replied with "Thank You."
When Regan asked about her being able to turn back into her human form for signing papers, Butterfly said "I can, but it's like I told you earlier. I don't really know how to control them just yet. I try, but I don't know how to change at will. I usually just have to wait until I change back, but who knows when that'll be." Just as Butterfly said this, she started to change back into her human form. She didn't even notice until her feet touched the ground and she almost fell over from having been in her butterfly form for so long. She caught herself on a nearby counter top and looked at Regan and laughed, "I guess that time is now."

Butterfly kept fluttering next to her making sure she kept up with her and she listened as Regan described her room. She wondered if she would be considered an adult even though she was thinking about taking classes there. Even if she did, maybe a roommate wouldn't be too bad and hopefully the student rooms were nice too. "Your room sounds like it's really nice and big. I've always lived in a small apartment and not exactly in a safe part of town. I really like it here so far. And I like your tour." She hoped that Regan would continue with her to the admitting office. She didn't know what to do. She sorta felt insecure about doing stuff on her own. She knew that it was nice of Ty to find her the apartment to stay in, but with no power she couldn't expect to stay there for a long time. Maybe she could stay here and he could visit her or maybe she could find another apartment or something. Butterfly didn't know what to do. All of these things were so new to her. Maybe Ty could help her figure out what to do. After all, he was one of the only people she knew and really trusted.

Butterfly took the fifty from Ty and walked over to the Victoria's Secret. It wasn't far from the sunglasses place so thankfully she wouldn't get lost. She went in and walked around a bit, looking for the things that they had specials on or were on sale. She finally saw the specials deals and looked through the pull outs and found her size and styles that she liked. When she was done picking those out, she walked over to the other section and found a couple of bras that weren't too expensive and then found the perfume she wanted and took it to a counter. She waited in line and after the woman rang up her items, she handed the fifty to the woman and got her change and her bag and went back to meet Ty. She walked back to the Sunglass Hut and looked around a bit before finding Ty. She saw a pair of aviators with blue reflective material on the front. She tried to picture them on her brother. They were perfect. She smiled and went to surprise Ty with what she had found for him and to give him back his change.

Butterfly laughed hysterically. Oh well, she tried. She still wanted to go so she decided that she would go there while Ty was in the sunglasses place. It wouldn't take her long to get what she needed, but she knew that Ty wouldn't go with her no matter how little of time it took her to get what she needed. She walked around with him for a few minutes, but then she tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Well since you aren't going to go with me to Victoria's Secret, I'm gonna go and get what I need and come back here. So don't leave me please. Also, do you want me to pay for my stuff from there or what?" She asked because Ty did say that today was on him, but she didn't know if he would be offended or not about her paying for her own underwear. While she was there, she decided she might pick up some perfume and lotion as well. Victoria's Secret always had good-smelling perfume and she had been meaning to get some. One of her only friends she had from school had some one time and she let Butterfly have some. Since then Butterfly had wanted to get some and she decided that today would be the day to get it. Besides, a girl could want to smell good, right? She sure didn't wanna go around and smell like she hadn't bathed in days. That was another thing she needed to ask Ty about. She needed to find a place where she could shower. That was the only downside to living in that apartment. No power means no hot water or running water at that.

Butterfly laughed and smiled when Regan told her about other mutants eating habits and her own midnight snacking as well. She was also glad that she would meet a lot of other people around here. Maybe this would help her to not be so anti-social. I mean she was going to be around other mutants so she didn't have to worry about being different or being unaccepted by them.
When Regan told her that they would swing by the admitting desk and she would show her the dorms on the way, Butterfly said, "Alright" and flew up the stairs and waited for Regan. She started to flutter along side Regan so that she could stretch her wings. "What do the rooms look like?" and smiled as she saw the children running along the hallway laughing, still heading to the office.

Butterfly walked with Melissa and nodded her head when she spoke about people drinking at any time of the day. Butterfly continued to follow Melissa to the back of the building. She wondered what they were doing and asked Melissa what was the room that they went into. She saw the safe and watched as Melissa began to look through files and put all the paperwork together and into a purple file and handed it to her. Butterfly took the paperwork from her and asked "Is there anything else I need for the job?" And when Melissa went on to explain about the ill spirited chef. Butterfly nodded and told her she thought she could handle it. She didn't let what most people say bother her anyway. Unless they were close to her, but not that many people were around here. Besides, dealing with people and their attitudes came with the job if you wanted to have a position where being around people was common. Hopefully, she wouldn't do too badly at this job. "When do you want me to start? Or do you have to train me/ want me to sort of shadow you first?' she asked.

Butterfly smiled when he guessed just based on her butterfly coloring. "Good guess." she said and followed him to the escalator and went up to the next floor. She looked around at the stores on this level. She saw a shoe store that she wanted to go to and she also wanted to go to Victoria's Secret. She had to drag him in there. Sure the store had cute stuff, but she had to make him go in there with her. Just to see him squirm.
When Ty gave her the choices of stores to go to. she replied with "How about we go to the shoe store, check out the Sunglass Hut, and then hit up Victoria's Secret?", waiting on his reaction to her choices.

"Not anymore" she said jokingly and continued to walk. Suddenly, Ty came up behind her and took all her clothes from her. She noticed that he had traded his black shirt for a green one, but had also picked up a purple and black tie-dyed shirt as well. She really liked that one. She teased Ty a little bit and said to him in a joking manner, "Well since I think you'd look really good in green, I think I'll do you a favor and trade ya the green shirt for the purple. What do ya think? Do we have a deal?" And when Ty told her that today was on him, Butterfly was astonished. Her jaw dropped and she stammered, "You...you didn't have to do that, Ty." blushing slightly as well. This was such a nice surprise. She had never really been able to afford nice clothes and Ty was treating her to clothes shopping. She started to tear up, but she just looked at him and smiled and said, "Thank you"

Butterfly looked around as Regan walked with her on her shoulder. When Regan said that it was a really nice place, Butterfly responded with "It seems like it." still amazed at the place. It was really nice. When Regan and Butterfly walked into the kitchen, Butterfly gasped at the size of it and of all the cookware and appliances that were in it. "Well, it would have to have a lot of stuff in here. Its a school and people live here." she thought. "Is the kitchen always open?" she asked Regan, knowing that she liked to have midnight snacks on occasion.
When Regan said that she would send the insect mutants her way, Butterfly laughed and told her that she would like to meet others too in a teasing tone. And upon being asked where to go to next, Butterfly replied with "Anywhere that you would like to show me Regan. I trust that you will give me a good tour of the place. Would it be possible to meet the person over the school as well?"

Butterfly stuck her tongue back at him and and shook her head at him when he decided to get the shirt anyway. When he held up the green tie-dyed shirt, she looked at it and smiled. She liked it. While he was browsing, Butterfly had managed to find a couple of dresses and a shirt and a pair of pants.
When Ty asked if she had found anything, she responded with "Sure did." and showed him the dresses, shirt and pants. She walked over and then said "Thank you" and took the lime green tie-dyed shirt from him. "I think that's all I want from here. Lets go see what other stores they have." she said, starting to find a register to get in line at.

Butterfly listened as Ty explained why he hadn't been in a mall for a while. She looked at more clothes as they walked through the sections and made their way to the stairs to go to somewhere else. When they went up the stairs and found themselves still in JC Penny and heard Ty exclaim about the size of the store, Butterfly nodded her head in a agreement and then began to look around at a few shirts and pants that caught her eye. She turned around when she heard Ty ask her opinion on an article of clothing. She looked and saw the shirt that he was talking about. She laughed and jokingly said to him, "You gotta have a dark side before someone decides to go and mess with it."

Butterfly smiled when Regan made sure she was still there and hadn't been blown away. When Regan told her that the classes probably didn't cost anything to take, Butterfly got really happy. That would be nice if she could take them. When Regan asked about taking the basket of veggies to the kitchen, Butterfly said"No, I don't mind at all. I know that basket is kinda heavy." And then asked,"How long have you been staying at here? Butterfly was still taking the place all in. She was so eager to learn more about this place. She then had a thought, "I wonder if there is anyone else with a mutation like mine?"
