The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

I am terrible at starting threads but if you wanted to start one some where, and pm me the link, I will post there as soon as I can. Sara is somewhat handy, but also very curious and in about any situation, I can find a reason for her to bump into/fall on your character.
There were a lot of things that Sara could give away. Many more than what she did and despite part of her wanted to gush all of this stuff out, she wasn’t one of those annoying know it alls who wished to spill the hole pot of beans on everything. Even if she sort of wanted to. Just enough, and if those who heard her were smart enough, they’d heed her words and what ever warnings went with them and her actions. This other cat mutant wasn’t that smart in her mind. He flicked the statue in Sara’s arm with his claw leaving a thin white line.
Sara’s eyes dilated and she started loosing her temper faster than the swish swish of the other feline’s tail. She wasn’t paying attention to much else or she might have noticed that small white mark vanish and smooth into the rest of the black cat’s forehead. Sara’s claws tightened into the meat of the other cat’s shoulder as he went to leave. Her lips tightened against her teeth so that they wrinkled but didn’t quite show any teeth… yet. Her hand jerked back to pull the Panther man’s shoulder around so he’d face her properly now. “You’ll understand this all the more then.”
And Sara’s clawed hand that had dug it’s elegant claws into panther boy’s shoulder (And quite possibly shredded through the shoulder of that awesome purple vest) whipped down to grab for the golden bangles around his wrist. She’d either aim to sink her claws into his arm, if he moved, or grab for the bangles.
Pigeon boy let an arrow fly, and Sara didn’t let her steps falter as she made her way to the mansion doors. If the flying mutant followed the same pattern that he had in the past, the next would be in Sara. Still, a weapon was a weapon and as Sara passed the arrow that had berried it’s self in the ground, she’d scooped it up. The resistance from it being stuck in the ground was there, but with Sara’s strength and speed, she made short work of pulling it free. Not skipping a beat of her feet on the ground.
"You are not going anywhere without me,"
Sara was considering flipping the bird off again, when she heard the younger mutant jog up behind her. Really? She still had his sketch book, so she could understand him wanting that. However when she looked over her shoulder on eye brow raised about the other. He was still putting himself between Sara and Robin Hood. “Here.” Sara said turning enough that she could hand him his sketch book back. “Sorry about that. I was a little distracted.”
She held his sketch book out, bumping it against his arm. She’d keep it there, as she traveled to the mansion door. At the mansion door, she opened it, and strolled inside. “And as for you, Watch me.” Sara shouted over her shoulder at Talon. The younger mutant could follow her inside if he wished. She then slammed the door shut before Talon could reach it. Crossing her arms with her hips tilted she stepped to the side of the door. Nudging Persi next to her just in case. “So do you think door or Window?”
"Dear boy, I never insult. I speak only the truth"
That was more Bull than Sara had recently seen floating aimlessly above the city recently. Sara showered, she didn't lick herself because, Yuck Hairballs! And all of that other stuff. She really was getting sick of it. She really just wanted Talon to take a shot. Try to get her and fail. She was fairly certain she could catch an arrow of his if she saw it coming. Or better yet, dodge.
Then she was asked to hold Persi's sketch book and without fully thinking about it, she did. First only thinking that he might be climbing down. Instead, The younger mutant climbed up putting himself between the bird mutant, and herself. But bird boy kept going on and on anyways and figured the best thing to do was to remove herself from the situation with him. "You know what? You're right. While I'm here and in this glorious mood, I'm going to find her." Sara hopped down from the tree landing gracefully and low, then straightened herself, dusting herself off. She'd forgotten that she was still holding the sketch book so there it staid in her hand. Had she been thinking straight she would have at least laid it against the foot of the tree, or climbed back up and handed it to the younger mutant but this wasn't one of those times that she was thinking as her self. So instead so started marching her way up to the mansion. Her free hand made a single middle digit solute to the bird mutant as she left. "I'll go and apologize to Evelyn... Not to you." Though the way her voice sounded and the fact that her movements were sharp, fluid, yet fast, now might not be the best of times to fine Evelyn.
Ok. Bird boy needed to land. Then he needed to die. He really needed to die.
Sara knew that she hadn't had the chance to give the best first impression to this guy, but he didn't need to spout all of that crap about her and the more she listened the more that she glared, them more that her ears pinned against the back of her head, and the more she just wanted to punch him. In fact if one was to look at her clawed hands, they were digging into the tree branches that she had grabbed onto for balance. Splinters cut into her fingers around her claws and she hardly noticed the biting feeling that they had. Most of the time, Sara let comments about her mutation roll go but it was still a sore spot. She'd put up with a great deal of abuse because of it, and she'd had enough.
"...Do your insults always sound like you ate a dictionary? Because they're really not effective when everyone's busy laughing at you for sounding stuck up."
Waoh. Sara's glare lost some of it's edge. The kid stood up for her? ok he just earned huge brownie points in her book. She still wanted to kill the bird mutant, but the kid? She'd definitely make sure that he wasn't hit by one of pigeon boy's arrows. "Don't you enjoy a good Hypocrite?"
Her eyes narrowed back on Talon's "If you shoot me in the head, I'll probably not survive that. But go a head and try." After all... Sara had narrowly survived being shot in the head once... Once.... Narrowly...
Flea bag. miscreant. They were names that Sara had heard before, but it didn't mean that Sara wasn't getting more and more ticked off by the second. Pigeon boy needed to come down so she could kung pow chicken his sorry tail feathers. "I used to live here. My apartment is in need of.... repair." Sara did her best to do just a one shoulder shrug but the fur there on her shoulders and neck were trying very hard to bristle.
Again, Sara's eyes focused on the end of the arrow that the bird mutant was aiming at her. She really needed to learn how to use a long distance weapon other than a gun. Because one day she really wanted to get this mutant even when he was out of her reach.
"If you want to take a flying leap into space though you are welcome to test it. I remember that worked out quite well for you the last time."
"And have a chance to make you talk funnier again?" Sara's hips might have shifted and her tail swayed much like a house cat ready to pounce at that thought. "It would be worth it again." Sara said with a grin. for a moment, she wondered if he'd flip her off as much as he did the first time if she dislocated his jaw.
Once the other mutant in the tree was secure, Sara let go of his wrist. However she still kept him in the corner of her eye in case he needed help again. She was just starting to decide exactly how much lower Talon would have to come to Sara for her to reach him, when the mutant on a lower branch asked something that nearly had her fall off of her perch.
"Is she your ex or something? I promise I'm way not old enough to hit on her!"
"Saw what now?" Sara's foot had slipped of of the branch and her arms shot out to grab two other branches, that bent and swayed under her weight. "I'm not old!" Sara said indignantly pulling herself back up to rest on the branch that she had been perched on, and letting her tail smack the back of the younger mutant's head. "And Hell no."
I'm always up for a plot. I've got werecat here who likes to think that she is a good person but also has an attitude problem at times of I have pix who is chaotic trouble.
“If I don’t hear from you by the time Speedy’s fixed up, I’ll be calling you.” Sara warned Sam. Her voice was held steady, but inside, her nerves were tight. Sara knew that she had a limited amount of time to get the speed mutant to Doc Prof before the ice melted and she bleed out, but right now, there was no hurry.
“You both watch out for yourselves.” Sara said. Things in the area looked like they were wrapped up. She could see that the four mutants who had been knocked out weren’t going to wake up and get away so easily, or very fast with the ice strapping big red down. Sam and Evelyn were making their plan and preparing to take their leave. There really wasn’t a reason to hang around.
Once Sam had Evelyn secured, Sara would take out for the mansion. Speedy cooperating for now.
There weren’t a lot of people that openly showed a lot of artist talent. Sara could, but normally it was only a single sketch here and there. This kid had a hole illustration going on.
"Um, thanks. I--"
Sara let the corners of her eyes wrinkle slightly. She could let the surprise of seeing herself go for a little. Roxy had that sort of relaxing effect on Sara. Then that arrow hit the tree branch directly above Sara’s head. Her ears pinned in response. She was really starting to hate pigeon boy. Her thoughts were distracted for a moment. He was making a speech or some sort of warning, and Sara was really only half hearing the warning when she saw the other mutant artist start to fall. Her right hand shot out to grab a hold of his wrist, tight. Her claws were only slightly out, enough to irritate the skin, and she squeezed tight to keep the other mutant from falling further. It might have been alarming to see Sara’s arm move that fast but it was meant to help. “You ok?”
“Robin Hood. It’s not that I don’t appreciate you’re presence again, but buzz off.” Sara glared over her shoulder at Talon and that stupid bow and arrow of his. She made sure that the other mutant was steadied in the tree, when she snapped a dead branch off of the tree limb that she was perched on, and flung it at Talon like a knife. “… Or you could always get a little closer.”
I had forgotten about the Pix Locke thread. My apologies for that.
Right now, Sara is starting to be fairly active in the riot plots. She could run into Locke in one of those threads. OR she could run into him at the mansion.
Sara saw Sam grin and she immediately didn’t like the look. He’d grinned like that similarly when he’d thought that she was trafficking people. Stiffer than his normal self. It had her brow furrowing and her head tilting. Then he made his request…
Sara’s nose wrinkled. She wanted to complain and tell Sam no. She hated cops. Anyone in a uniform didn’t rate high on Sara’s mind. Heck. Even some of the xmen in uniform didn’t thrill her that much. OK. She could do what Sam asked, and when he finished she decided that if the speedster gave her any trouble, she didn’t give a rat’s tail how badly Sam got chewed out for the lack of use in any of the speedster’s limbs. Sara’s ears laid flat and as she passed Sam, she let out a animal’s sound of dismay. Short and held a rumble from deep in her chest. “Fine.”
”Please and thank you.”
Sara stalked closer to the speedster. Her amber eyes locked on the woman’s and there should have been no question that Sara would do what she had to do, to keep her word. Sara first checked the speedster for other weapons. The knife was closed, and pocketed, and she hoisted the speedster up in her arms. Waiting for Sam and Evelyn to decide where she was going.
