The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"I'd like to think so..." *Tricity thought about how Kaine was 'part of the family', but could easily destroy it if Whitmore got the stone. She shook her head of thought and grabbed the chocolate syrup, drenching the vanilla bean ice cream with it.* "Cheers to the Gods of ice cream. They keep me sane."
"Ya know, you really shouldn't be allowing me to eat this crap." *She stood up and went to the drawer for an ice cream scoop and spoon.* "Keep the pickles away, I'll stick to the ice cream tub and chocolate syrup. God knows my stomach will be killing me later with the whole nausea at night...and tomorrow morning...afternoon....and then that night." *Tricity sat back down, smiling.* "You really helped cheer me up. Thanks."
"Thanks, hun. Honestly, I don't know what I would do without your support. Everytime I'm down you're always there. Course...that may have to do with your mutation, but you get my drift." *Tricity said, sarcastically as she sat down at one of the stools facing the island.* "Oh no...I'm having a pregnancy food craving, BIG TIME. I want chocolate syrup and a pickle. Eeew. Gross."
*She braced the side of the island and then her stomach.* "Yay, I think I'll be alright...at least till the next mental breakdown when Archon comes into my room." *Tricity said shrugging with a smirk.*
"Good, but..." *She turned to him and put a hand on his shoulder.* "Make sure you don't strike out though or you're off the team. And I'm not talking baseball." *Tricity said, smiling.* "Gimme a hand, would ya? Getting down is a lot easier than standing up again."
*Tricity took a deep breath and exhaled, putting her back against the island once more. She banged the back of her head against it lightly for being down.* "I'm sorry...pregnancy keeps me feeling shitty." *She said, softly and exhaling again. Tricity turned to him and smiled slightly.* "You should be in charge of this team, ya know. An emotional soon-to-be mother has no place in command. So, how bout it? Second in command?"
*Tricity felt much better to hear those words.* "I hate that I might not even be able to help because of the baby. Doc says I shouldn't even be doing simple things..." *She looked over at the TV hanging from the ceiling and mentally turned it on.* "I feel so useless..."
*Tricity jumped at his touch and picked her head up to look at him.* "No it wont! What if Whitmore puts one of those fucking stones in Orion and we have to kill him?! You don't understand...he's one of the most powerful and oldest mutants on earth! Not to mention my fiancee and father of my unborn child!" *She put her head back down again and continued crying.*
*Tricity was in the kitche, grabbing a juicebox, when she heard familiar clicking noises on the floor's tiles. She turned around and saw Archon taking a seat by her feet and looking up at her with a panting smile.* "Hey boy..." *She reached down and pet the wolf's head, touching his collar. It immediately made her mind go into a memory of she, Orion, and Archon taking a walk outside, having a playful argument about the wolf getting a collar. The memory made her slip into an immediate depression and Tricity slipped to the floor. She was in a spot most wouldn't see unless they walked around the back of the island that she was leaning against. Archon walked over to her and licked Tricity's face before laying down next to her and putting his head on her lap. He titled his head to the side, seeing that she was upset. Tricity began crying very softly and holding her stomach as she realized she and her baby might never see Orion. To have his baby without him made her cry out softly in sadness. She really didn't want to be alive...*
"Ok, that's fine...just make sure you sign out and keep in touch. If you need anything, let me know, alright?" *Tricity sat down at the island in the kitchen, to talk. She couldn't stay long though. There was so much to be done.* "Cass...don't forget to be careful and try to call every while or so. I know I sould like a mother, but I have to say it."
*Tricity came into the kitchen with the laughing, yelling, and running around of the mutant children having a good time making breakfast. She reached over the children at the island while they dunked their french toast in the batter. After grabbing some pots and pans, Tricity started cooking the bacon and sausage to go along with the french toast. Some other children began squeezing oranges to make juice and grabbing plates to set the tables in the kitchen and dining rooms.* "Ok guys, be careful! We like to keep the breaking of dishes to two a day!"
*the coffee splashed out over the table and some of the kids shrieked in excitement.* "Yea, that's all we need is another one of our famous food fights." *at that moment her cell phone rang and she picked it up, putting one finger in her ear to hear over the noise.* "Hello?" voice: "Sounds very busy. Are you sure you can handle all those children, Delilah?" "Who is this?" voice: "A friend, interested in some information. Please, come outside." *tricity looked out of the large window that lined one of the walls in the kitchen. there was nothing directly in front, but as she turned her head to the left, tricity saw General Whitmore stepping out of a helicopter. she hung up and watched him standing there, smuggly.* "Shit..." *there was a resounding 'ooooo' as tricity cursed. she turned to johnathon and asked the older teen to watch over the children.* "We have a visitor..."
"It's insane!" *tricity said, over the loud noises of the children.* "When I first came to the school, being in charge was definitely not on the top of my list. But, I've been here for so many years, that I fell in love with them all and have this obligation to help them." *janie phased through tricity and ran around to the table to grab her sausage before phasing back through the table and onto her lap again.* "They all know they have powers. They usually come here when they first discover their powers and their parents don't know what to do. It's like the parents just dump them here because they are so scared of what they don't understand. All humans are like that. Always afraid of what they don't understand..." *tricity said, looking down the long table of children.* "It seems mutation is showing younger nowadays. Sometimes we even get babies on the steps. Mutation was usually seen during puberty, but...I don't know. It looks like the future is changing." janie: "Ms. Tipper? Whus pubity?" *tricity looked down at janie and tugged her pigtail.* "Nothing you need to worry about for a while, kid. How'd you guys hear about the school, anyway?"
