The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Oh, just walking around the Island, practicing my ability, watching the waves." Jade responded gazing at Vincent longingly.
It was such a strange feeling, Jade had never loved any man before in her life. Her father was gone when she was five so she really never had a strong man in her life. Sure she tried to date in high school but nothing ever turned out to well.
Then Fusionist got ahold of her in her junior year and she didnt date anyone. Then her distrust for men grew as she was poked, prodded among other things she didnt want to think about.
But at the moment, she mainly thought about her life now...her life that she secretly hoped to spend with Vincent.
Vincent gave her a warm smile as he looked out across the ocean. Another breeze came in, this one a little colder than the last, with a touch of sea spray in it. “It’s getting a little cold for that dress I think,” he said, moving to her side, “here, is that batter?” he wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
He could feel himself blushing, but forced control and he tried to slow his racing heart. While he did feel extremely nervous, he also knew that this was what he wanted.
Jade blushed lightly as she nodded slowly. She pressed herself against him, feeling his warmth and protection. It was nice...it was..needed.
"This is alot better, You make me feel warm inside, and out Vincent. And here I was thinking my heart was frozen a long time ago." Jade stated in the all honest truth
Vincent looked at Jade as he processed what she had just said. She’d said how he made her feel, and that he was essentially melting her heart. His own heart near skipped a beat as he came to that realisation.
Swallowing his nervousness and doubt he did what he had been wanting to do almost from the moment he had met her. He leant in and kissed her. For a moment the world seemed to stop and there was just the two of them as he kissed her gently. If felt so… right.
Finally breaking the kiss he smiled sheepishly and could feel himself blushing profusely. “I’m sorry I…” he trailed off into awkwardness as his words failed him.
Jade felt herself melt into the kiss, tail wagging back and forth slowly. She felt for the first time, she was normal she was a normal woman kissing a man that actually cared for her. He was so gentle with her and so loving, almost as if she was a package that would break if he was to rough.
When her broke the kiss Jade looked at him with one of her trademark grins. She noticed his stutterings and spimply replied.
"I love you too Vincent Lupin."
Jade's lips locked with his, her tail curling around his leg gently as she kissed him back.
Vincent held her too him as his kissed her, feeling her tail coiling around his leg. He hadn’t realised how happy such a simply statement could make him. Knowing that she felt for him as he did for her made him feel as though nothing in the world could possibly bring him down from whatever cloud he was on.
Pulling back he smiled, not a sheepish grin this time but a smile of true joy. “I’m so happy that you’re here with me. I can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather be.”
Jade smiled at him, tail wagging back and forth happily. She gazed into his dark blue eyes, smiling like crazy.
"Vincent no matter where you are I want to be there standing beside you. I dont know what it is but something in my heart tells me that when Im with you I will be safe and protected by you in that old deniem jacket of yours." Jade replied, taking his hand in hers.
“Ah yes,” said Vincent, glancing down at the jacket, “this always was an old favourite of mine.” Grinning he looked back up at Jade, “My lucky jacket.” He made a mental note that if they ever went out on a date that he was to wear this jacket.
Turning he headed back up towards the house, as the sun had set and it was getting cold quickly. He couldn’t help but smile at Jade, she looked so beautiful in that dress with her hair streaming loose. Even down to the tip of her tail, where it wagged happily. She was the most beautiful person he had ever laid eyes on.
Jade smiled at Vincent tail wagging back and forth. She gazed at him taking him in fully.
She loved the way is hair was disheveled about, never looking quite intact. The way his green eyes sparkled when he gazed at her lovingly. Or how always managed to make her laugh no matter what the situation. Jade even thought that he looked rather debonaire in his old jacket.
"Vincent do you plan on spending the rest of your life on this Island?" Jade asked him in all serious. But it was clear she wanted to ask, 'even if your work is done here would you stay with me.'
“Well, “ said Vincent, frowning in feigned concentration, “There are lots of things around here that I need to do, including the security upgrades I’m working on, and by the time I’ve done those I’ll be far enough behind on my robots that it’ll take a good while to finish them, and during that time I’m sure I’ll have tinkered with various other things around the place so that by the time I’ve finished the robots I’ll have put so much work into the place that I’d be a shame to leave it.”
Pausing he turned and grinned at Jade, “Oh, and you’ll be here, so that’s more than enough reason to stay.”
Jade growled at him a punched his shoulder playfully. Her tail wagged back and forth as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"You were gonna leave me here all alone for some stupid robots." She whined, making her face in a mock pout. She glared at him, trying her best to hold in her laughter. It was working, but barely.
Grinning at Jade’s pout he wrapped an arm about her shoulders and pulled her close to him saying, “Leave you for robots, never! If I did that I’d never get to sample those delicious brownies again,” he flashed her another cheeky grin.
Losing the smile he said in all seriousness, “So long as you have to remain on this island I’ll be here with you. If it’s ever safe to leave then I’ll go with you wherever you want to go. I promise.”
Jade smiled at Vincent leaning her body up against him. She felt herself fit snuggly in his arms, almost as if they where made for one another. Jade sighed softly, kissing Vincent on the cheek.
"I love you Robot man." She grinned at him. "And I dont think I will leave this Island for a long time, Besides who else will take two people who can blow each other up without even trying to."
Vincent smiled when she referred to the earlier incident with the secretary robot and the bottle of lavender. “True, most people would probably object to random explosions.” He held her snugly to him as he reached the door of the house and held it open for her to head inside.
“So, what shall we have for dinner tonight then my little husky girl?” he asked. It was late, and despite all the excitement over what had just happened he was hungry and needed something to eat.
Jade thought for a moment, tail wagging back and forth slowly. She grinned up at him, the idea forming in her head.
"Hamburgers, I love hamburgers." Jade smiled, walking inside of the house, pulling vincent in tow.

About a week late Vincent's and Jade's relationship was going very strong. They had come to open up to each other about various things, there feelings, hopes, dreams and desires. But one thing they didnt cover was each other's pasts.
Jade knew that Vincent was being a gentleman about not asking about some of the scars that roped across her back and the back of her legs. But she also knew that he wanted to know in order to help her ease any left over pain she had left. He already had done so much for her, why couldnt she just let him in?
She was scared.
Jade was scared about what he would think, or how he would react. But then again she wasnt sure.
Jade now walked around the kitchen wearing a tanktop and shorts, some of her scars in plain view. She was making herself busy but her tension was evident, She drank water gingerly, sweat running down her brow.
When strong hands wrapped around her waist she yelped before recognizing the scent, "Vincent you scared me for a minute there." She gasped, looking up at him.
