Personality: Ophelia is extremely vain and is very good at using her looks to bend people to her way of thinking (usually men;)) Her habit is that she is constantly flicking her hair. Ophelia can rub people up the wrong way but if she likes you then she can be extremely loyal, funny and kind. She is the way she is because of the way she has grown up. It has made her spoilt and she is not used to not getting her way. She's also a little stupid. No offence to her. She very creative and loves her fashion and drawing. She carries a sketchbook with her so she can jot ideas down. Hobbies/ Interests: Art/Fashion Job or part time job and description: Nope. She's never had to work. Morality
Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: other- Ophelia struggles to find her place within the mutant world because she doesn't feel that her powers are exciting like other peoples (see below). Though she isn't the nicest person in the world she isn't evil but her real morality will become apparent later.
Mutations
Mutation description: When Ophelia sings, the people who can hear her "get lost in her voice". This means that they usually stop what they are doing and focus all there attention on her. This mutation can only work fully within a proximity of around 10m (about one large room) and gets stronger the closer one approaches. The closer the person is when she starts singing the longer they take to recover. Those at the edge of her range will still stop but can break away from it, however those closest to her could still be in a trance 20 seconds after she has stopped. Her voice can only carry the range of a human voice. Strengths:She can distract people by singing and also make them focus attention on her-which is what she likes Weaknesses:It can be easily overcome by muting her, with simple earplugs or just blocking out the sound.
Secondary mutation description:to go with her siren voice, Ophelia can grow large brown wings from her shoulder blades when she needs to. At this point in her life, she hasn't really used them so she still needs to learn how to make the most out of this ability. Strengths:She could (when she learns) use them to fly away Weaknesses:It takes a little time to grow them and it hurts when she does, which makes her stop singing. She also needs to train how to use them.
Fighting Style
Explanation: If someone comes after her, she sings until they stop and then runs away or fly away when she masters that skill. Pros for fighting style: If the person she is fighting is in the range of hearing then they will become hypnotised by her singing. Cons for fighting style:If they can't hear her then they will not stop. If she stops singing the mutant she has used her powers on will return back to their original state. When she grows her wings, the pain of it takes her concentration away from singing and leaves her vulnerable for attack.

History Of Your Character Ophelia was born in Yorkshire, England to wealthy proffesional parents. At the age of 11 her parents brought her over to L.A in order set up there own private practise and plastic surgeory. The business was a success so Ophelia never moved back. She is an only child and is spoilt. Her parents over look the fact that there daughter is not as clever as they wanted her to be and this frustrates Ophelia. She has mainly been home schooled despite her wishes and so she has never been in that sort of environment. As far as she can remember she has always had her powers. She used to sing to her parents to make them happy and relaxed so they would buy her the things that she wanted. She first discovered that she had wings when she was climbing down the garden wall a few years before she left home, fell and they ripped out of her back. Her scream woke her parents and she was forced to hide before they disappeared again. Ophelia heard about Xaviers school from a gang of teenagers she used to hang around with on a Saturday behind her parents back. She convinced her parents that it was a college and that they wanted her. Her parents were so overjoyed they didn't listen to reason and here she is.
Roleplay Where did you learn about this site?: google Do you have any other characters on MRO, if so who:nope Sample RP: Ophelia opened the window as quietly as she could and swung her legs onto the ledge. Holding onto the inside of the painted window sill she lowered herself down until she could feel her toes on the ivy covered drain pipe and took a depp breath as she reached for it. Clinging on desperately, Ophelia took a couple of deep breaths, listening for any sounds coming from her parents bedroom that suggested they had heard anything. It was 1 o'clock in the morning and the night hid her skinny frame like a black cloak as she fumbled her way down the grey drainpipe and closer to the ground.
Her foot found a bracket and she put her wait on it. She heard a snap and her stomach tightened as she lost her grip on the drainpipe and tumbled backwards into the abyss below. In a matter of seconds, her eyes widened as she clasped at nothing and her mouth opened in an "o" shape.
It was the sound she noticed first. A sickening rip like someone tearing a material in half broke the silence and was followed by a pain she had never felt before. It was like she had broken her shoulder blades and she screamed so loud it dwarfed the noise of the rip. She felt her knees come into contact of the ground and looked down confused as she knelt graceful on the floor. The pain she felt hadn't come from smashing into the ground.
Half passing out the lifted her hand to the back of her neck and worked there way down till she felt something that wasn't human. Large, heavy wings protuded from her back and Ophelia nearly screamed again.
The door opened and Ophelia ran to the back of the house, as she heard her mother shout out and call for an answer that wouldn't come. She vomited down a drain and blacked out....

Welcome aboard! I can see our characters being friends as the result of some of their similarities, and if my character can put up with Ophelia's spoiled-ness, I'd be more than willing to volunteer her as an instructor for flying lessons.
