The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Derek looks through the items that Jordan left. He opens a small box and sees an assortment of screw-on arrowheads. "I wish I knew what these did..." He says to himself, palming a few different arrow heads. "Guess I'll find out soon." He says, grabbing the boxes and heading upstairs. He walks into his bedroom, and then to his closet to dress in his gear. Upon finishing, The Archer prepares a few of his new arrows and heads out into the night.

The Archer returns to his home around 3 in the morning. Heading upstairs, he removes his gear piece by peace and enters his closet. He puts everything back in it's place, shutting the armorie and replacing the fake wall. He goes to his bed and covers up, falling asleep quickly.

The Archer returns late at night in a hurry. He rushes as he changes out of his gear and into some normal, 'clubbing on a friday night' clothes. He leaves his house once again, this time in a car and off to a club.

Derek returns to his home late at night. He goes to his office and turns his computer on. As it boots up, he gets Ella's cell phone number out of his pocket. He sets it down and rubs his eyes. "I think I've gotten myself too deep into this one." He says to himself, yawning as he opens up a browser. He goes to a phone listing website, and types in Ella's number.

"Well...that's fucking fantastic." Derek says, lowering his head as he recognizes that last name. What ex-under cover cop and current masked vigilante not know that name? He looks at a picture on his desk, one of Kristin, his wife, and his two children Joey and Kerrie. He thinks back on the night, how he had actually been interested in Ella. "I'm sorry. I'm failing you." He says, picking up the picture. He holds the picture a while longer, before heading upstairs and going to bed.

Derek wakes up the next morning around around 10. Since everyone had the day off today, no one came into the office and he spent the day cleaning up.
When night fell upon the city, he felt the urge to go to his closet and become The Archer, but remembered about Ella. "Well I guess if she doesn't do anything I can use her to get close to her father." He says, picking up a piece of paper with a phone number on it. He reads it, and then dials the number.

Derek pulls up in front of his house. He gets out and opens the door for Ella. "Well this is my place." He says, leading her a few concrete steps to his front door. He fishes in his pocket for his keys.
*Ella apraises it, not bad, an older brownstone and an ok area of New York, and he get bonus points for opening the door for her. So few guys do now a days.*

He finds his keys, and unlocks the door, letting her go in first. "This is the business part of the house. Nothing really done here. I live upstairs, really." He says, leading her up the stairs.
*Ella glances about his office but she isn't really paying attention as she lets him lead her upstairs, well not any attention to the office anyways,* Nice place you have here.

"Thank you." He says, smiling as they get to the top of the stairs. "That's the bathroom, guest bedrooms, and storage." He says, pointing out the rooms quickly. "Do you want to see my bedroom?" He asks, looking down a short hallway to a door.
