The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

"Ah, thanks. Let him know that we've transfered money into the account name he gave us, and we've made plain reservations for him. If he calls JFK, the tickets are under his stage name, eh?"
No problem. *Del replies politely before hanging up. She then gets out of bed writes down all the information on a note, more than anything she wanted to put down a comment expressing that she is upset he didn't tell her that he went through with the offer, or even a barb about how late phone calls disturb the kids, and maybe he could have told them not to call the house this late, but what really upsets Del is that he'd be leaving for a week and didn't bother to mention it yet. At the same time Del knows that if they keep fighting this is all going to lead nowhere. She puts the note with just the facts on the door to their room and goes in and tries to go to sleep. It will be better for them both is she isn't awake when Siren gets home.*
Siren does eventually make it home, and heads for bed after checking in on the kids. He pauses at the note and swears softly. Del is going to be pissy tomorrow. Sighing, he heads into bed.
*Del had a bad dream last night and got up early. She took a shower and even made herself breakfast and got all the kids bottles ready before any of them woke up.*
The noises from the nursery are morning time cranky.
Morning sleepy heads how about new diapers and bottles? *Del says to the babies as she walks into the room.*
Yes, say yes mommy I want a clean diaper. *Del says, lifting Apollo out of his crib doing his change and putting him back with a bottle to keep his attention as she moves onto one of his sisters.*
*After Harmony is taken care of Del hovers over Aria's crib for a minute getting a good sense of her emotions, honestly her kids are the easiest emotions for her to read. Del tickles one of Aria's feet lightly smiling down at her.* Feet? Do you mean feet? Or is it a new word that you'll be known one day for defining? *She says as she lifts her daughter giving her the benifit of the doubt.*
She is trying awfully hard, aren't you sweetie? Feet? Feettt! * Del says slowly for her daughter to mimick. She ends up with hands in her mouth.* Oh-lo oot inl - mommy's mouth, no hands in mommy's mouth. *Del says and doesn't skip a beat telling Siren,* There are extra pancakes in the microwave for you if you want.
