The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Leila's day was good. She'd worked all morning, stopped for a quick lunch at a nearby Resutaurant, and now, here she was, heading for the Training Room at the Sanctuary. She wanted to get a work out done, with the lack of training she'd done this week, due to visiting her cousin in Canada, and the week before, due to her wounded arm, she was well due for a little Training Room fun. The big, metalic room was the same as always, just the way Leila liked it. She looked upwards, and then sighed.
"Leila's Challenge, Level 5" she said to the Computer, and the room changed into a small area between two sky scrapers. She knew this Challenge by heart, the gun shots, the cloaked robots, she'd created this after all. She was in the middle of the third round, when the strongest, and tallest robot aimed a punch at her, and she got hit in the chest. "Urgh," she said, "Pause" she ordered, gathering up her breath and energy.
She got to her feet and gulped down a few mouthfuls of water, "One more try, shall we?" she muttered to the paused Robots, the one that had hit her was still in the same position he'd been in when his fist had encountered Leila's stomach. She dropped her bottle on her Gym back and was about to resume her training, when the door of the Training Room opened. She casually looked up, to see who was coming in.
Aura walked down the hallway, she was board, and the walls in her room were currently in desperate need of repair from her testing her aura weapons on them. The young Mutant stopped for a second stretching her arms a bit and then ajusting the loose long black skirt she wore, a long with the simple somewhat tight black t-shirt, her hair was back ina loose braid. She considerd what she wanted to do, she ahd no desire to go outside today and so she headed for the Tarining room the Order had, she rarely went to it, mostly because she ahd no idea how the programming worked and the various panels in her wall got the job done effectively enough.
She only got lost once looking for the Training room, she did not even stop to think if someone might have been using the room, instead she opened the door and walke din, her green eyes scanning the room, her eyes stopped as she spotted leila in the room and a grin came over her face. She recalled their last encounter and moved further into the room scratching the abck of her neck as pried her eyes a way from leila to look at the robot.
"I hope i am not intruding" She said casually as she further scanned the area realizeing the sky scarpers and other scenery in the room. It was amazing to her all this could be done in a single room. "After all this looks quite fun..." She went on as She moved closer to leila. Leila had said she wanted to train with her and Aura assumed this would be their chance, already her aura, began to become visible around her, though it had not become solid yet.

A familiar face was standing in front of the doorway and the Order member couldn't help but grin back at Aura, as she straightened up. "Hello Aura, no you aren't intruding at all." she said, watching as the brown haired, green eyes, girl came closer. She remembered bibidly the day they'd met, a few weeks ago, she'd gotten the chance to help this young Mutant out in a Park battle with Arielle and Nathan, it had been a pleasant experience, and, unfortunately for Aura, Arielle had made a full recovery.
She caught Aura looking at the scenery she'd conjured up. "Nice, isn't it?" she said, "Care to join me for a little bit of fighting? There's still three robots to take down. Then we can try my Level 6." she said, not having tried it out herself yet either. She knew the scene was the same as this one though, and that most of the dozen robots were programmed to be skilled fighters. This would be a lot of fun, actually having a chance to fight along side Aura.
"This level isn't really hard, but be ready, because I paused the program right before..." she pointed at the left sky scraper "...the Balcony over there is going to crash down at any moment, I usually get a bit behind with that part, but I did this level at least a thousand times." she grinned again.
Aura's aura flowed around her and began to form around her though it had not yet become solid. SHe had figured since she had not heard anything on Ariiele that the girl likely recovered. She had hoped against that as her power made her a harder target for Aura to strike at. Still what happened would happen and so Aura had done her best not to put to much thought into it.
"Should prove interesting" She said and for a moment recalled the damage she had inflicted on her room, she would need to get the floor tiled as well. Forming a single blade around her hand she smiled, then the Aura flowed, Rearranging itself into the shape of a hammer. "Level 6 huh? How many level's does this thing have?" She asked curiously then looked up at the balcony. "I see, i am ready when you are" she said with a smile, for some reason the idea the room has a pause function seemed strange but it did make sense.

Leila's eyes trailed absent mindedly around Aura, watching the pink substance surrounding her. She bit her lip, remembering the change in her own Mutation. She wasn't shifting into a Dolphin anymore, and she knew that within the next few weeks, her full growth would probably kick in. Her body when she was shifted, looked somewhat like a Dolphin with ears, blonde hair, arms and legs. She hoped one day, she'd look a little more Human, and that the pain it caused her when she was shifting, would stop. It never used to hurt her like this, she actually had a few bruises on her body from some of the shifts she'd done recently at work.
Maybe she shouldn't shift for a little while?
"Oh," she said, realizing Aura had spoken a few seconds to late. "Only eight, I haven't really had time to finish the rest. I plan on making at least ten, but it takes a while to do this after all." she shrugged, "Do you know how to use the Control Panel?" she asked, and then she moved over to where the robot that had nearly 'virtually' hurt her, was. "Alright, I'm gonna unpause the program, so get ready." she said loudly, and then with one deep breath; "Resume Program," she said in a buisness-like voice. The robots suddenly started moving again, Leila kicking at the robot's shins, knocking him to the ground.
"Actually no, i usually use my room for training purposes. So can you simulate mutant powers with these robots" She said, which was true though with something like this in the place it was prolbely not needed. The Facility looked quite large and being able to fight robot simulation did increase the effort one had to put into the training at hand. Aura had Little trouble finding one of the remaining robots Aura waited keeping a few feet between her and the Robot. She wa sunsure why but robots were always a bit unsettling to her.
The Robot struck first and the impact pushed Aura back a bit, but the young girl just smiled, leaping at the Robot bringing her blade down upon the robot who side stepped the blow and struck her where her ribs should have been. Aura Blade melted back into her aura and formed a blade like extension from the side of her fist which she then used to strike the robot inside sending sparks showering over the floor. She did not believe the robot could be very smart but it certainly was doing all right. The Robot tried to strike again, But Aura turned quickly running her blade across the robot's chest, cuaseing it to stagger back before falling back, its twitched a few times which kept Aura's attention but it did not seem to be a threat any longer.

Leila nodded, "I see. Well, as far as Mutant Robots are concerned, the best Iv'e been able to do was for them to shoot out Lasers. I think I may also know how to make them shoot bombs of some sort." she admitted, shrugging slightly. Mutant abilities were harder the program, but she knew someone was bound to know how. "I'm pretty sure you can make the Robots look like anyone you want too. I haven't tried that here yet though, but at the X's Mansion, I have done it quite a few times." she added.
As soon as her robot was on the floor, she jumped over it, landing just beside the left Skyscraper. She leaped up on a Dumpster that stood a few feet away, and then in the same second, jump kicked the robot that had been able to stand up again. She aimed a kick where the heart would normally be, striking a few times. Sparks could be seen, and the robot went limp. She looked back at Aura, who's own Robot was on the floor.
"End Simulator." she ordered, walking towards her friend. "Very good," she commented, patting Aura on the shoulder. "Do you want to try Level 6? There are ten robots to fight, and they are way more skilled then the six on this level," she said, as the room shifted back to the metalic scene it originally took when no one was using it.
"I only ask because if we could practice against the X-men with their powers, then we would be better equipped to eliminate them in a single action." She said as she mentioned her programming at the Xavoir mansion. Aura figured if they could kill even three of four targets then it would cripple the x-men for a second strike to finish them off, without the x-men their would be very few people out thare who could stop them in her opinion. "The look it self would be little different then just fighting the robots without the powers though" she said thinking further into the situation. Not for the first time she wished she was a bit better with computers.
"Level 6 sounds good" She said with a nod, she was still standing so she would continue the training. Letting her blade flow back into her aura, she formed a hammer like shape from her hand. It would be ten on two and these robots would be smarter according to what leila had mentioned, Aura was happy about that. Looking around she saw the familiar metal sides that normally adorned the room, she wondered if the simulation would go back to where it was before or of the scenery would change. "Ten Target's?" she asked to confirm the number, she just wished to be sure.

Leila nodded, "Yeah, that does seem logic. I wonder if it would be possible. I may have to ask someone who may be a bit more used to this place." she said, thinking of Geo. He seemed like a member that had been around for a while, and he had been in many battles. She knew, because of the night they'd spent together, fixing up her wound. Nothing happened? Wrong. She wasn't really proud of what she'd done that night, but kissing Geo had been fun, she didn't regret it one bit.
Anyway, back to the subject. "Yeah, well I'm pretty sure it's possible. I'll try to squeeze in some time in my sceduale to experiment further with the Machine." she said, shrugging slightly. Leila was rather smart, she never needed big books on how to use things, she simply expiremented. She'd done that her entire life, and reading instructions really wasn't her thing anyway.
"Yeah, ten." Leila said, with a nod of her head. "Get ready," she started, trailing off as she herself got in a fighting position. "One...two...Leila's Challenge, Level 6." she said, and the scenery changed yet again, this time, it was night club, one that was closed; meaning there was no music, people, or lighting. She looked around as shadowed figures started to emurge from different places in the room.
Aura was quite happy leila agreed with her. Aura ahd barely used the place and could browse the internet but to actually program something was a bit beyond her grasp. She would have to make a note to ask a few other people as well, trying to take some of the burden off of leila's shoulders even though she did not mention her plan. Aura nodded when leila said she would try and take time to experiment with it and Aura could only hope Leila's mechanical experiments went better then aura's had, last time she had managed to make her computer unable to boot up and the machine had to be discarded. "I am not much good with machine's the language used sort of passes over my head" She said trying to articulate her words.
Aura Nodded as leila got ready to start the simulation, Machines she may not have had any talent with, but combat was another story, she understood combat, it was something people simply did. A calming and relaxing activity which flowed well with her. She was a bit surprised when the scenery changed to the night club but she quickly regained her composure as her eyes did their ebst to adjust to the lack of light. Aura moved a bit away from leila for room, and quickly moved toward the first target she had scene although her eyes looked for any other moving targets, figuring they would all be moving. Aura came down with her blade on her first opponent and the Robot leapt back avoiding, allowing Aura only the floor to cut into.

Leila smiled, "I had a Scientist for a father," she said, sounding a bit more harsh then she'd intended too, at the mention of her father, "So I got a lot of exerience with Technology in the past. She bit her lip, trying not to think of the fool that had been so dreadful to her. "That man turned out to be a real jerk." she said. She didn't say she'd been the one to kill him only weeks ago. Instead, she said: "The human won't be getting me in trouble anymore."
That was all she was going to get from Leila's father's mysterious and uncalled death. No one, apart from the couple of Cops, had actually seen her face that night, and who would beleive Mr. Harte's beautiful daughter would ever want to Murder him? They had no clue of the stuff he'd done... The things he made her go through... The nightmares he always gave her every night, ever since that week in France. She shivered, not letting this get to her. Not now.
Now, back to the Simulator. Leila's eyes got quickly used to the darkness, and she started walking forward, away from Aura and her little companion. Her eyes trailed the dark room, spotting three of the ten Robots coming from one of the broken windows. "Come out to play..." she whispered, grinning. One of the robots took a surprising leap, and Leila bent backwards, avoiding a kick in the face. Her body was straight again, and she aimed a hard punch in the robot's face, missing it by a quarter of an inch.
She dodged the red blast the robot's eyes shot, and aimed an other punch, this time sending the robot flying on it's friend. Two out... for now. She turned around, though she could still see the two fallen robots from the corner of her eye. She watched as Aura faught her own battle on the other side of the room. She was a good fighter, Leila had to give her credit.
"well at least you learned somthing from the foolish human" Aura mentioned casually. Aura could barely recall her own parents faces. Their faces and weather they were alive or dead matterd littile to Aura anyway, they had let her cit in a cage for months simply becuse she had power. "I suppose human's do have their uses" She went on though she seemed less concerned about it now. Leila's tone made it obvious she and her father had a less then perfect relationship, and he was human and thus did not matter. In fact when Aura tried to picture her parents, Miracle kept comming to her mind.
Aura was struck by the eye lasers which slowed the momentum of her forward rush, but Aura blade punched into it's neck severing vital circuitry that controlled the robot, cutting off its ability to function. Aura dodged aside a secound robot's laser she went after it quickly, her next slash missing by mere inches. The robot leapt at Aura and although Aura rammed her blade through the Robot's head, the force of the leap was still enough to knock her to the ground. Aura was forced to cut through the robot, before she could get back up. She had made a tactical error, but she would berate herself for that later, Now their was much to much action going on.

Leila cringed slightly at the sight of Aura getting hit by the Robot's laser. She was about to run to her aid, when the two robots she'd knocked outy earlier (probably having realized her attention wasn't on them anymore) attacked, each at the same time. She flew across the room, further from Aura. She crashed head first in the Bar, making the glasses on the smooth surface shatter, sharp and small cuts appearing on her body as the glass fell on her. She didn't wait a second though, before she was up again, smoothening her hair as much as possible, and wiping away the sweat on her forehead.
She shook off the glass on her arms and clothes, and then ran towards the two robots again, only to be hit in the lower back by a third's laser beams. Great she thought sarcastically, ignoring the pain as she tried to aim a hard punch behind one of the robots' necks, digging into the metal with her manicured nails, yanking away the wires that made the robot function. "Two down, eight more to go." she said, seeing Aura's partner had also fallen to the ground.
There was still two robots on her tail however, and she couldn't take a big break before the two tried attacking her at the same time. She dodged the two set of eye lasers, elbowing the robot that had been able to tackle her to the ground. She couldn't see what Aura was doing anymore, but she could heard noises, not the noise Robots falling would make, but what a Human would, along with a blade piercing metal. Flesh hitting cold tiles.
Aura leapt to her feet from her back looking around, a second later she heard the smashing of glass which took her attention right a way. Aura took another blast to her chest and slid back from the force of it. She could feel the strain her aura was taking to hold the blasts at bay, these robots while not mutants were by no means weak. Moving in low Aura let her arm blade flow back into her aura and reformed it on her foot kicking the robot in the leg, ripping a hole into his leg.
Aura recalled the smashing glass and turned to see if Leila needed any help, so she moved back across the room and saw their were to robots on leila's tail. Aura broadsided one of the Robot's on leila's tail, the one she had not taken care of. Her foot blade kicked whare the crotch of a human would be, the Robot stopped it's chase and looked at Aura who ducked below it's eye range as it fired back int he direction she had run in, she then deliverd a punch to it's face forceing it back again, just as she saw a red laser barely miss her shoulder. Leila was right, this was a good training course, perhapse their was some emrit to this after all.

Leila quickly noticed Aura coming to her rescue, and this reassured her. Aura wasn't injured from the fall, good. She quickly got to her feet, kicking the robot on the ground a few times for good mesures. She got hit by two sets of lasers, but they were much weaker, and barely even affected her at all. She hastily smashed the panel on the robot's chest, ripping the wires. As far as she could tell, there were four robots down: Two each. So, that meant they each still had three to go. Leila straightened up, and in the few seconds this had taken her, Aura had punched the second Robot in the face.
Leila tackled the robot to the ground, and tried to cut off the wires somehow, but two new robots started making their way towards the girls. Leila cursed under her breath, and took the Robot's head, bringing it back as much as possible. This would normally break a Human's neck in half, but the Robot didn't do anything more then emite some faint sparks. Leila smashed the head against the floor, and then was shoved off by one of the new-coming robots.
"This is... pretty hardcore." she panted, looking over at Aura. This was one of the first things she'd said to her Partner since they'd started the Simulation. "Want to take five or something?" she added, while dodging the many blasts of red light, punches and kicks the robot sent at her.
