Character
Personality: Growing up, the Kettler sisters had a relatively easy life - they were spoiled rotten, however, but Ana was always second-fiddle to Alexandra, which let her fall into the crowds that could only be described as...'different'. Though being a tomboy, she started hanging out with kids who were theater arts extremists - dark makeup, interpretive dance, et cetera. Though she did have more of a dark personality, particularly toward her parents, she was extremely smart, always interested in school, but most of her passion laid in travel. When Alex found out about her mutation, quite suddenly Ana was boosted into the position of prodigal daughter. She was not suited for the position, and constantly disappointed. This didn't do well for Ana's morale, and she slipped further away from her family. After Alex left, Ana despised her family more than ever. She became very withdrawn, concentrating more on her poetry, which became more and more depressing. Upon discovery of her own mutation, not only did Ana become panicked, but she missed her sister dearly, and wanted her guidance. She hid the power from her parents, not wanting to register as they were going to make Alex. At the moment, Ana is a girl seeking guidance in any way she can, frightened and feeling very alone. Elsewise, she is unafraid of speaking her mind, and rather free sexually - she knows who she is and what she wants, and how to get it. She has a habit of twisting her hair and biting her lip when impatient or nervous. Hobbies/ Interests: Ana writes her own poetry, and stories, has dabbled in writing music, enjoys acting, singing, and traveling. She would like to be an international ambassador. Job or part time job and description: None Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Has a fear of water (mostly related to her mutation); Her greatest fear, though unspoken, is losing her sister, whom she considers her only friend. She has no idea what to do with her mutation, torn between her parents, who she knows will turn her away, and her sister, who she doesn't know how she will react. Special talents: Writing, singing, and acting - the trifecta.
Morality
Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Neutral at the moment. She is torn between registering, as she knows that is what her parents want her to do, and running as her sister did.
Mutations
*Mutation description: She can transform herself into sand. Strengths: She can control her sand-form, as to create herself into a sandstorm, which can 'scour the flesh from her enemies' bones or 'form a human shaped body', et cetera. She can also erode things at an accelerated speed - however, attempting this fighting strategy weakens her at an accelerated rate, as well. This form makes her harder to detect telepathically. Weaknesses: Telepaths or Wind elementals can easily grab hold of her sand-particle self, making it very difficult to mount a proper defense. Also, water is a major weakness, which can cause her to clay together, bogging down her movements. Electricity and extreme heat are also difficult for her, as they will cause her to crystallise, paralysing her. She will revert back to human form if overly exhausted or knocked unconscious. Another, in her sand form, Ana cannot see. Often, she can form herself around an object and be able to tell what it is, sort of like sonar, but not really, especially considering, if she is wrapping around a person, they definately know sand is wrapping around them. *Used Wikipedia as a reference
Secondary mutation description: None at the Moment
Fighting Style
Explanation: Mostly street style - the kind of fighting used to get by. She knows how to throw a punch, and, having strong legs from her days of interpretive dance, she can give a kick that will at least temporarily cripple someone, if properly placed. Pros for fighting style: - Cons for fighting style: Little to no effectability against anyone with actual training.

History Of Your Character:
Born two years after her older sister, Ana grew up second-fiddle to the 'golden child' as she came to call her. However, it didn't take Ana long to discover that her sister was not at fault. Where her parents lacked in showing her love and affection, Alex made up for.
However, Alex couldn't make up for everything, so Ana ventured away from home, and fell into a theater extremist group. Ana threw herself into theater and dance, and even began to write poetry and short stories, even if they were dark.
Upon discovery that her sister was a mutant, their parents looked to Ana to pick up where Alex had left off. Ana, however kept disappointing. In reaction, she got a tattoo and her bellybutton pierced.
It was also around this age she discovered boys. She did not, however, let it distract her from her true passion of writing.
When Ana heard her parents talking about having Alex registered, Ana was horrified, knowing her sisters' stance on it. Deciding the best way to deal with it was to just tell her, she called Alex, acting aloof, and told her about her parents' plan.
Alex ran away not long after.
Her parents, though shocked at their eldest daughters' betrayal, began fawning over their tomboy daughter. Deciding to milk it, Ana began asking for money to indulge her other passion of travel.
Ana's school sponsors a number of trips around the world, and she indulged often in them as shegrew older.
However, on the most recent trip, one to the northern part of Africa, Ana and her schoolmates were caught in a sandstorm. Their guides left them to, essentially die. And they all did...except Ana. One moment, she was buried in the sand, and the next, she was in it, being moved with the wind. It was beautiful, she thought, until she landed in Morocco, the sole survivor of a school trip from Romania.
Upon returning home, Ana contacted the only one who knew where her sister would be, sending out an SOS. She's spent as little time home as possible, afraid of her parents, and yet afraid of everything that could soon happen to her.
Ana wants to run.

Sample RP: The desert was hot and dry, and Ana had sand in places she never imagined sand could get. She'd tied her white oxford shirt above her naval, and already, her tan skin was getting darker. Her long, dark hair was tied back into a messy bulge at the back of her neck, and sweat dripped across her forehead.
Ana had never expected the Sahara desert to be quite so...extreme. The camal below her made a noise she interpreted as a grumble, and she reached down to pat his side. "It's okay, Bup. I'm told Morocco is just around that sand dune, or is it that one?"
"Oh, shutup, Ana!" yelled Antone.
"Did you get sand up a crevice, Tony? Makes that stick up your but ache, doesn't it?" Ana retorted, putting her feet up on the other hump of her camel. Tony muttered a few incomprehensible phrases, before settling for shutting his mouth.
Their guide made a few gutteral sounds before clucking at his camel and zooming off over the sand dune.
"Hey!" yelled Ana, sitting up, urging Bup on.
"Ana!" screamed Yana, pointing beyond the other girl.
Ana turned slowly, letting out a scream as the raging cloud of dust and sand enveloped the small group, knocking her full off of Bup, and into the rough sand.
Opening her mouth to call out to the others, Ana swallowed the small silicone particles, coughing and hacking as she did so. Her legs were already fully covered, and she felt a hot, stick substance on her cheek where the sand had struck her.
She couldn't die like this, this wasn't fair. Not after what had happened with Alex...she wanted her sister. She wanted out. She wanted to open her eyes and see the blue sky over the North African desert.
But she knew she dare not open her eyes. Ana curled her arms around her face, breathing in the hot air on her arm - better than breathing in the sand as she'd done. Her throat ached at the very thought. The sand surrounded her, buried her, and she felt tears prick at her aching eyes.
Until, rather suddenly, it all melted away. Ana felt her body tingle, it felt like her foot was asleep, and she was trying to wake it up. It was something she wasn't sure she enjoyed or despised. When she risked looking about, it was wrong to say she saw, more that she felt, as if she were moving with satin, riding the wind.
There was no explaination, not until the sandstorm stopped, and she felt herself settle amongst the dunes.
Unsure of what to do, Ana thought of Alex, desperate to think of something familiar in this unfamiliar wasteland.
With a shriek of pain, Ana's human form snapped back together, like a million knife points meeting in one spot.
Ana stared up at the sky, tears pricking at her eyes. "Oh, no," she muttered.
