The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Seeing how her words might have been slightly off beat or unwarranted she quickly regained her sense of self and noticed she was doing the the tail wag thing. It was a subconscious thing but she was still relatively embarrassed when it happened. taking a step back and thinking of what she just said she saw how the question could maybe be seen in a more negative light. She would have to in the future learn to not announce any and every change she noticed to every one. While thinking over her actions she thought about what he had said and realized that he might have called her a wolf or a dog now this was not a good idea. From reading and wanting to learn what the hell was wrong wit her she had run across several words more than once and Lobo was on that list.
Pausing for a second she thought about it and the more she thought about it the angrier she got. She hated to be thought of as any thing less than human. Forcing her tail to the ground she resisted the urge to shake it and she glared at Andre, it was quite clear she was slightly upset. "The Danger Room is great fun you know and amazing to test out your gift to get in there as soon as possible is a great idea you never know you might find some thing special in there about your self" she said sarcastically before she glance over to streak she had still been waiting for a better alternative to being locked in there each night"So silver guy any new idea toward my situational discomfort cause if not I'm sorry to say I wont do the danger room thing any more I really and honestly hate waking up in there every morning you know it's just a bit annoying."

Since everyone was getting introduced and acquainted it turned out to be a good thing that Streak was there. Sam had decided to leave and Streak was now left with the werewolf, who didn't like him, and the new kid. "Did you ever get in touch with Emerald?" Streak questioned Miracle after she made her comment about the Danger Room. There wasn't much to say in the way of getting things going.
Streak thought that it was best if they get to the Danger Room as soon as possible. "I don't have any better options than talking to Emerald. I understand that it wouldn't be fun waking up in there every night but unless Em's got a better idea then I definitely don't." Streak said to Miracle. He then turned to Andre and said, "Ya, let's go see what you're powers are all about." Streak motioned for him to follow. The would be heading to the Danger Room as soon as Andre was ready.
"Ya, let's go see what you're powers are all about."
"Uh, yeah, sure." said Andre, somewhat hastily.
Andre walked back to the side table and picked up his backpack, putting the right strap over his right shoulder. He didn't figure that he'd need it in the Danger Room, but he had a habit of forgetting where he'd left his things when he was in new or unfamiliar places. Not that he'd think he'd never see his backpack again, it was just more of a precaution. He assumed he could probably stick it somewhere close-by while he got his powers examined.
"Lead the way hombre." said Andre as he walked back towards Streak.

"This way." Streak led the way through the halls. It was a short way to stairs, which led down to the basement area where the Danger Room was. The room lit up brightly when the doors opened and Streak walked in. He had no doubt that Andre would be following close behind him. Shawn was eager to find out what this guys powers could do and how he controlled them at the current time. Once inside the Danger Room, the silver eyed mutant started talking.
"Welcome to the Danger Room Andre. This is the place where you can practice anything you want and not worry about hurting other people. We can start as soon as you want." Streak said to him. "This place is very helpful for anything you need. It's always open and there's usually someone in here that can help you if you need it. If you need help anyone that live at the mansion can help you. They all know how to use this place and can help you out." It was fairly simple to operate the Danger Room and he would explain it all to Andre after they'd figured out what his powers were. "By the way, how old are you?" Streak said as this thought popped into his head.
Andre followed Streak into hallways and what looked like a basement staircase. Andre had to strain his eyes to see, until Streak opened the door at the end of the staircase. The bright light dazed Andre for a moment, and Andre instinctively rose his hand to veil his eyes. He'd recently been outside, so he had adjusted to brightness fairly easily. Andre stared intently as he entered the Danger Room. To him, it looked like he was in some secret facility.

"Uh, thanks." said Andre, still preoccupied by the Danger Room, "I'll probably take up on that offer. An underground fortress is better than a street alley."
"By the way, how old are you?"
Andre turned his head back to Streak, "I actually turned twenty on the seventeenth."

"Good." Shawn replied to him. The answer was for both comments made by Andre. "Because of your age you don't have to have someone in here with you when you decide to practice." He said still explaining to Andre. "If you're ready to find out details about your abilities we can start right now." Shawn figured that he would want to start right away but then again he might want to get settled in before doing any discovering.
It all depended on the person. Most were anxious to find out about themselves but some were afraid. Shawn, however, doubted that this new guy would be nervous or afraid to try it out. Shawn waited for andre to answer him before he went ahead and set up a basic simulation.
"Good. Because of your age you don't have to have someone in here with you when you decide to practice."
"Oh," said Andre, still taking a glimpse at the Danger Room, "well, I guess that's something." Andre didn't particularly mind lack of supervision, but he had grown accustomed to practicing his abilities in private.
"If you're ready to find out details about your abilities we can start right now."
"Oh, uh, yeah. Sure." Andre looked around the room, somewhat at a loss. The room was large, but there wasn't anything obvious for Andre to use his powers on. "There's no target or anything, so... what do I... do I just fire it off somewhere, or something."

Andre seemed somewhat uneasy. Once he said that he was ready to practice Shawn walked up to the look out room and started sorting through simulations. "Just a minute and you'll be surprised at what this baby can do." Shawn called down to Andre. After about a minute of fiddling with the controls, Streak had everything ready that he needed to gather information on the new guys powers. New mutant powers were always fun to discover because it always seemed like the possibilities were endless. Unless their mutation was obvious it was almost like throwing the dice at what they would be able to do and what their powers would be.
"Let me know when you're ready and I'll start it up. It's going to be a basic defensive exercise. Just use your powers against them and it'll get recorded in the computer." Shawn said through the god mic. This is going to be interesting.
(ooc:feel free to start the exercise on your next post.)
