They had a very hard time haveing kids so Kaumi is an only child she was borne on June 15 she looked like any other new borne but she has lot of trubles getting stared with alot of colds and what not alot of times they tought she was going to die. But she lived that made her family so happy, She being an only child got almost anything she wanted when younger. But becues of that she was always happy and had very good grades. She was always the top of her class being Japanese and American she did not mind she knows how to speek Japanese very well form her father.
At the age of 13 her powers came out it scared her to death she thought that something happen that she did something wrong after a Doc seen her. She was told that she is a mutant yet she did not hate what she became neater did her mother and father they just loved her for who she is not matter what powers she had. They put her into a school that was there made for mutants she soon finds out that she had the powers of a tree frog when she is sacared she can make a non non-lethal poison that will knock the person out for hours. Based on how much they get hit by it. She soon form the spots on the back of her arm when she is in fear she makes posion and can sling it around. But when people scare her she seems to jump up and end up sticking to the cleaing witch people seem to find funny besides her.
Her mom and dad did not know about Xavier's Institute untill she was 18 years old. She soon found out that she can use her powers for so much more so with out a fight her mother and father let her go. She will train hard and hone her powers to when she is ready and she wants to be part of the team she thinks that she can do very well as a x-men. So she will try her best to be part of the team.

Kasumi being part of the X-men is trying to stop humans and .mutants form fighting yet it seems to be getting harder and harder. At the age of 22 Kasumis second powers came to be. She did not know about it for a long time till she was bit by a sanke and did not react to it. Somethings are found out the hard way and this was one of them. She now paints and has a flow shop when she is not helping the X-men. She has never gotton Haywire and has not seen anyone others that has it.
Kasumi knows that she can not do anything about haywire so she goes on with her day to day life like any other person. Kasumi has grown to be very noble and strong yet she does not show off in what she has and what she does she trys her best not to make herself look all big and bad. Like always she sees the good things of the world that is why she has a little shop called "Little Dragon Lillys" it seems to be going very well for her not only her flower sales but her paintings also. She is very happy in how this is going. She is yet to marrie or fall in love with anyone yet she thinks the right man will come to her in time.
