Isabel was a little surprised to see who walked into the room after the door had been opened. She was also mildly surprised the Twins hadn't done anything in ways of bodyguarding, should their companion have been anything other than a companion. Despite her mild surprise, she smiled none the less in a greeting to her fellow Orderling. Yet another X-Fool that had been turned in the right direction. It was always so delightful when they joined the Order's ranks, especially when times called for more forces fighting for their cause. "Apparently Bacchus has gotten himself in more trouble. That's about it," she replied in a follow up of Syn's own comment to the posed question. There was no hint of surprise in her voice, nor was there any outward showing or worry as the woman named Erica had demonstrated. Isabel never had worried too overly much about that boy's well being. He had proved himself capable of watching his own back if he needed to, with a few slip-ups here and there. It wasn't like they'd never been able to help him out when he'd needed it. She was perfectly content in both her own and her faction's abilities.
She couldn't quite prevent the grin from spreading across her features at the mention of Shade joining in their fun. He always had been a great asset to the Order. "I wouldn't worry too much over Tall, Dark, And Sometimes Visible, kid," she spoke in reply to the scrawny bodyguard's doubts. "I'm perfectly confident he can do what needs to be done. Just because Adapteds are involved doesn't mean we'll allow ourselves to be pushed aside with any kind of ease." Adapteds. She hated those worms almost as much as she hated Stalkers. They were nothing but trouble for mutants trying to give the world a push in the right direction. However, just because they could nullify her abilities to a degree didn't mean she couldn't set them in their place. It just took a little more time was all. Turning away from the kid and his companion as she moved to retrieve more dropped papers, she instead directed her attention toward Syn and her companions. "So what would you have us do now, Syn? Time is apparently an issue here. I don't like leaving one of our own on the other side for too long. And what about Shade? Is he meeting us here, or are we expecting to run into him somewhere down the road?"

I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
