The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Raina cleared her throat. "If you're not an x-men, or an x-men trainee I'd prefer you not march off into battle" of course, she had no way of stopping anyone. "It's probably just some lackies from the order or soemthing. Please continue to stay here and enjoy yourself. I don't think we're under attack... I think we're just... enduring a little michief." she couldn't see them staging an attack. What for? They were picking themselves up after the camps just as much as they were.
"eh..." started Raina searching for ideas. "Why don't we play some rockband?"
(ooc: For the people still at the party room i wanted to stay unnoticed so i typed it this way if you don't mind ow and i came in with a van of the order when the fighting broke out.)
what a day, Cailyn found a van that just screamed go through my trunk. it was still early and she had hopped in the trunk to look through it. There was allot of stuf their that she needed to inspect and play with. She lost all track of time while she did it, not hearing anything around her. When she was done she looked outside through the window. Everything was different and there where lots of people here. Cailyn gasped and she was tad bit scared about all the angry faces and things happening. She secretly snuck out the trunk and went passed the wall unnoticed. Nobody seemed to see her but she was still scared and alone. She noted allot of lights coming from the big house and seemingly something was going on there too.
She walked along the walls of the mansion for a little while till she spotted some boxes filled with paper across the street. It seemed to be paperwaste day. She skittered over to the boxes and looked at them. It was very interresting what people threw away but before she went through them she had a idea. Build a box stairs so she could look over the wall and see what happened inside the house. She skittered back and forth, taking it one box at a time till her stair was complete. She quickly climbed on top of it and looked at the mansion. It was huge and it looked like a castle to her. She stood on the cardboard stairs she build for a while and then it began to wooble. She lost her balance and fell over the wall landing on her behind. She let out a soft ouch as she landed and rubbed herself.
After sobbing for a while over her sore spot she stood up and walked around the yard. It was big and beautifull, nothing like she had ever seen. It was better then the park. She slowly walked looking around the yard until she got up to the mansion. She stood about a few inches away from the wall and she looked up. She got those big amazed eyes as she said: "Wow" gasping at the building tallness. She opened the door and walked. The hallways looked big and nice and she slowly walked around looking at everything she could find. She saw all kinds of plants that she lifted the leaves of to look under.
Eventually she stumbled on the jackpot. The party room filled with balloons, cake and presents. It looked very fun and their where people too but seemingly they where to busy looking outside to notice her. She saw the plated with pieces of cake on em and she put her finger to her mouth. Taking without asking is a bad thing but seeing as how everyone was busy she grabbed a plate.... or two. She got a bit anxious and she didn't want to get caught so she hid under the table with a cover on it that almost reached the floor. She put the cake down on the floor and she saw a balloon attached to the table. She pulled it by the string down under the table too. And for now it was munching time.
Tricity nodded to the others with assurance as they headed to the infirmary, following the fight with The Order members on the grounds. She needed to get to the War Room bunkers and call everyone out from inside. Taking a shortcut through the kitchen, Tricity pushed the many balloons out of her way until she saw one bobbing lower and lower to the floor.
'What the...' Immediately stopping in her tracks, Tricity crouched to look under the table in which the balloon seemed so adamant about getting under. It took her several blinks to realize what she was seeing. There was a girl under the table, eating birthday cake and grabbing the playful balloon. Tricity didn't recognize the girl as a student or resident of the mansion, however, it didn't mean she wasn't someone new to the mansion.
Tricity remained crouched about ten feet from the young woman and folded her arms over her chest. "Shouldn't you be in the bunker with the others?"
Cailyn was munching cake under the table like it was the normalast thing in the world. Suddenly someone was there and she wasnt paying attention. The woman scared the hell out of her. She jumped up and bounced from out under the table.
What was the woman going to do now that she caught her stealing cake. Was she going to jail, or worse. She froze, she was scared. She had a terrified look on her face. If she found out that she snuck in and stole stuff she was in trouble. She wanted to run but couldn't because her body didn't work. She swallowed and said: "I don't know." softly.
The suddenly startled young woman made Tricity jump up in response as the stranger climbed out from under one of the kitchen tables. The Headmistress looked the girl from head to toe. She didn't seem to be hurt...
"Well, the fighting is over, so you don't have to be afraid anymore. I promise," Tricity explained, noting the girl seemed to be very nervous. "Why don't you take some more cake and head back to your room? I could walk with you if you like."
Tricity carefully moved closer to the girl and bent down to pick up the rest of the cake that was still under the table. She slowly presented it to the teenager with a reassuring smile. "Hear ya go. I'm afraid I don't know where your room is, though. How long ago did you move in?"
"Hear ya go. I'm afraid I don't know where your room is, though. How long ago did you move in?"
The woman presented more cake. Could it be evil cake made to capture her, or was it good cake full of chocolaty filling. The dilemma that followed was something that she wasn't prepared for. To take the cake or not to take the cake.... that was the question. She shook her head in a no meaning way. She couldn't risk the chance that it could be evil cake to capture her. She needed to get out of here as soon as possible and find a way to her safe haven. She didn't belong here that was for sure.
"I dont' have a room." She softly said. She didn't know what else to do. She couldn't find a way out of here. Seeing as the door was blocked by the woman who was friendly..... a bit to friendly , very suspision. She felt like sherlock holmes and in her mind she said " Interesting." In a sherlock holmes kind of way. Whispers started to spook in her head though. People where coming, and lots of them bringing all kinds of information with them. The whispers told her everything but all she could think of was getting out of here. If only she would have taken her mask with her. The whispers marched up and Cailyn couldn't control it anymore. She grabbed the sides of her head, closed her eyes while looking down and screamed: "Get away from me." This was not only directed to the woman but also to the whispers in her head.
The girl apparently wanted no more cake and Tricity retracted the desert, placing it on top of the table. "I don't have a room," she replied very quietly.
"Well, we can fix that very easily," Tricity replied with a smile. "You must have arrived just today then, huh? It's too bad we had that interruption on the front lawn. You probably haven't met any of the mansion greeters then, right?"
The girl gave no response. In fact, it looked like she was completely in her own world and not hearing a single thing that was being said any longer. Tricity took a hesitant step foward until the newcomer let out a sudden scream that stopped her in her tracks. After putting her hands up in a surrendering fashion, Tricity tried to reason with the girl. "I'm not going to hurt you. I'm the Headmistress here, you don't need to be afraid." 'What's with her?' Tricity thought, as she tried taking another step forward.
She had to get out of here. The voices where having a party in her head and she wasn't invited. They told her strange things about the danger and trouble she was in. She didn't belong here. She got up and tried to stumble out the room. Her head hurt really bad as a result of her powers and the amount of people in the area. Especially because they where coming all together. She fell to her knees, she couldn't go on like this it had to be stopped. She was leaning against the wall holding her head. She couldn't go on and her eyes started to blink real fast. She was losing control and a soft Hymn started to doom up in the room. Cailyn didn't want this but she didn't have a choice. It was becoming to much for her and she was scared. One of her hand started twitching and she whispered : "Leave me alone."
The girl fell to her knees and Tricity was immediately by her side. She put two hands on the stranger's shoulders and saw her eyes blinking rapidly. 'Was this her mutation or was she a victim of seizures? Either way...'
Tricity reached for her cell phone and dialed up to the infirmary first, hoping someone would pick up despite all the activity that must have been going on due to the attack on the grounds only some minutes ago. No one was picking up... Wonderful. The girl's hand suddenly began shaking, so Tricity took it in hers. She glanced down at her cell phone and mentally forced it to dial to the security station.
Someone picked up. "It's Tricity. I'm in the kitchen and there's a girl here who needs medical atten..." Before she could finish however, a strange song suddenly began filling the air. The voice on the other end was calling to her, but she couldn't seem to notice anything else except the church like hymn that was beginning to softly fill the room. Tricity looked around the room and then back again at the girl slumped against the wall. 'What exactly was this mutation?'
(ooc: sorry for the shortness , i'm a bit sickish =< )
It was becoming to much for her. The excitement of all the people in the area and the whispers just where to much. It was like her systems overloaded. One moment there where whispers and screams running through her head with a hymn as a undertone and the next it was all blank. Her body quickly followed her mind as it shut down. Her eyes went blank and she passed out with her eyes opened. She fell on the floor and didn't move anymore. If it wasn't for her slow breathing it would almost seem as if she was dead. But she was far from dead, her body needed to do shut her down because she couldn't handle it. She breathed slowly as the music dimmed. What was to happen with her in a place she didn't belong and no more way to defend herself from anything.
"Shit..." The sudden limpness of the girl snapped Tricity back to reality. She picked up the cell and heard Johnathon panting on the phone, no doubt running to find them. "John?"
"I'm here," he replied, but from behind her as he entered the kitchen and took a knee next to her after closing his cell. "Who's she?"
"I don't know. I thought a new resident, but I can't be sure. She didn't say much."
"She's cute..." Tricity sent a small shock up John's spine. "OW!"
"Help me, would you?" Tricity said with annoyance, carefully taking the girl's head and sliding it to rest on her shoulder while she put a suporting hand under the girl's back. "Take her legs. Let's try and get her to the infirmary."
Johnathon scooped her legs up and the two turned the corner with the girl limp in their arms. "What happened?"
"I found her in the kitchen under one of the tables," Tricity began, giving students the 'keep-it-moving' eye as mutants in the hall began to stop and look at the scene. She readjusted the girl's weight before continuing. "She wasn't very coherent. I didn't even get her name." They'd started to make their way up the stairs, now only a few doors from the infirmary. "Oh, and make sure you find out who this girl is as soon as we get her on a bed. Find her papers... Talk to Streak or Steel asap!"
Tricity put her back to the infirmary door and pushed it open. "A little help!" A couple of the medical team members quickly came over and helped to move the unconscious girl to an empty bed.
