The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

((hey Raina I gmodded a Tiny bit just to get the post moving. Hope it was alright with you))
In New York City it was easy to see that there was still vague chaos from the escape the mutants made from the camps. Perhaps chaos would not be the right word to describe it utter paranoia would be far more appropriate. It would seem that everyone was looking at people funny as if suspecting them to pop out extra appendages and attack them at any moment. The sort of situation was rather interesting for those with something to be afraid of, like the mutants who had just escaped from the camps. They were returning to a world that was already intolerant of them before but now their fears were slightly elevated by the intolerant pig heads that had put them there in the first place. It would take a while for the dust to settle for people to calm down enough to let mutants disappear into the shadows once again, but for now, the sense of unease was in the air.
Even in places as obscure as a local sandwich shop nestled in a back alley, the slight tension was in the air. The Shop was exclusive mutants hang out, not easily found unless one knew where it was. At that point one would have to knock on the door then show their powers to the mutant guard at the door. One must wonder however, how this place was not found during the registration act. Well that was rather simple, this place was transformed into a teen dance club at night and no stalkers ever scanned it because of so much human activity. Most of the mutants that had come there had either gone into hiding or were captured by the stalkers so it had been rather deserted for a while. Now that everything was over it had ‘closed down.’ The dance club and moved it to another part of the city leaving the building humanless. That’s when things got back to normal around this place.
Within the shop there was a counter to place orders on and a bar for the older than 21 mutants to sit at and drink there beverages. The Shop was well lit and had various booths and tables scattered sporadically around the place. This place was only called a sandwich shop because it sold the best pressed sandwiches in town and would put anything on it no matter how gross it sounded. In sense it was a mutants dining paradise, but it was somewhat selective about those in let in, even if one showed their powers, on some days one could only get in if they had an invitation or if they knew someone.
One of the invitation days just happened to be today and the shop was very selective about who there were letting in. Only a few people sat at the tables, talking or scheming, some with blue scales all over them and some with vines for hair. There was one person however, who seemed rather content with eating what it seemed to be an all meat sandwich with french-fries and a large glass of Root beer. This Person was Emerald Lupin.
She wore a green tank top beneath her denim jacket as well as a pair of blue jeans with sneakers. The wolf girl sat at the table munching on her Sandwich occasionally, looking despondently at the fries, her mind deep in thought. Despite the Fact that she was in the camps Emerald looked a lot better, her body was no longer malnourished or anything of the sort but she still retained that same hardened look she had from the camps. In truth, that look was a mask, masking the inner turmoil that the she was going through right now. Emerald had been through worst at the hands of Fusionist, this much was true but fusionist didn’t make her question everything she believed in. X men always fought to protect the humans, despite everything that could be done to them, they always protected them. Now, the same humans they had always tried to protect had shoved them into camps put them through hardships of starvation, beatings, slave labor, rape and almost the total and utter annihilation of their spirits.
In a sense it was probably the most absolutely ungratefully thing Emerald had ever heard off and to put it quite simply she was a tiny bit pissed about it. Wait, perhaps a tiny bit doesn’t best describe the pure and utter rage that pulsed through the wolf girls veins about the whole thing, lets make it very pissed. Yes, that sound about right, very pissed at the ungrateful bastards. At the moment if one of the senators that passed that law was screaming for the X men’s help in the middle of the street Emerald would most likely spit on him and walk away. She no longer felt bound to the X men’s staunch rules of no killing and no screwing with humans. At the moment Emerald could probably care less about what other people thought about her, all she cared about was keeping those close to her safe and that was at any cost. These ‘rules’ Em followed now, were her own, a similar set of rules that she followed when she was on the run from Fusionist and his competitors. Emerald was still part of the X men, but she was more of a renegade X man now, doing what she believed was right, no matter what the headmistress said.
There where very few people in this city that Emerald really cared about, very few managed to get past her lines of defense. Out of all the people however, she couldn’t help but thinking about a certain male who had tried so hard to protect her while she was in the camps. He was there for her when she really needed a friend and it was odd because Emerald didn’t make friends often. He had been on her mind lately as well as a certain bone mutant whose whereabouts were unknown to her. Em was somewhat starting to trust them and it just made her more adamant about protecting those she had started to care for. She could care less what the mansion said if it came in between one she cared about and the fate of the group of senators that put up the registration law she would protect the ones she cared about every time, directly spiting a X men code of putting civilians before team mates and to save the innocents first. At this point Emerald was not sure that there were any innocent people left in New York City.
She took another large bite of her sandwich, glancing casually at the door as it opened. Her eyes recognized the person almost immediately as Raina, the young woman who had fallen head over heals for the cop that was the biggest asshole on earth. The fact that he was rude to Ruby already put Rupert on her shit list and the fact that Raina seemed to still care for him just threw the wolf girl for a loop. Even from her corner booth Emerald still smelled the stench of the cop on the woman’s jacket and she couldn’t help but wrinkle her nose in disgust. It was bad enough that she was in love with the man that caused threw all the X men into that hell but the fact that she was still wearing his jacket made Em a tad bit annoyed.
However, the facts that the woman was alive made Emerald’s anger simmer down a bit. She had been worried about all the mansion women when the breakouts happened but she wasn’t exactly in the state of mind to care about them when she went on her rampage. Now after seeing most of them getting out alright she was reassured that things may go back to being somewhat normal. Emerald decided that despite her distasted for the male’s jacket that she was wearing the, Jean jacket wearing mutant decided to give her a slight wave of friendliness, most likely not minding the company.
As long as Raina didn’t talk about anything Emerald didn’t like of course. If she did, things may get a bit…messy.

ooc: sorry it took me so long Em! hehe I went photographing! look! www.raine-angel.deviantart.com wolfy pictures there just for you just click gallery and be sure to full view the photos- the thumbnails don't do justice! And I had to chuckle a bit, Our drinking age in Canada is 19
ic:
Raina pulled the jacket around her as she entered the place. She'd been invited once before- before the camps, before she even knew the x-men. From a friend who helped her get safe passage to NYC.
She was lost in her thoughts today, thinking of Rupert, thinking of her Visa, her brother... and her 'fiance' Flloyd. Though everything had her feeling rather stressed in the decision making department it was still a welcomed break from what went on in the camps. In a twisted way it was nice to be stressed about normal things and go back to dealing with drama... it meant you didn't have to worry about who was going to beat you up next or where your next meal was coming from.
She had absentmindly ordered a drink - root beer- something she hadn't had in ages - and was casually walking through the place when a certain twitch of an ear caught her eye. She paused a moment trying to non-chalantly stare at the person and see if they were who she thought. Emerald. That was most certainly Emerald.
Raina had met Emmy briefly before the camps, and even briefer while in the camps. There was something about the girl that made Raina uneasy. Perhaps it was the reputation of the Lupin sisters, or the fact that her brother got on so well with Sapphire. Maybe it was the photos Raina had seen of her back in Rupert's apartment. Or the way her eyes always narrowed when she was thinking. Raina couldn't ever pinpoint.
Usually her sense of unease would keep her away from Emerald Lupin but knowing that she was out of the camps and starting to resume a normal life made Raina feel better. There was a sense of commodery between all those who had been in the camps, whether they got along or not.
Taking another gulp of her drink Raina hesitated wondering if she should approach. After mentally giving herself a kick she walked quietly over to Emerald and put her glass on the table. "Emerald right? Mind if I sit down?" she didn't wait for Emerald to respond. It wasn't that she was trying to be rude it was just that now that she was over here she didn't feel as brave and her legs were shaking a bit.
She took her seat in the booth across the table from Emerald. "Raina, I think we met a few times in the camp. I think my brother Naveed is friends with your sister Sapphire too..." she trailed off a moment not able to bring her eyes to the woman. "How are you holding up?" it was a stupid question she knew, but one she was going to ask anyway.
When Raina started to come over, Em could smell a certain scent of apprehension on the girl. It was odd because Em didn’t feel like she was that intimidating to catch such a strong emotional scent from someone. Emerald always identified everything with a scent, even something like emotion could be shown to her by a simple whiff of the air around someone. She couldn’t catch the scent of all emotions just stronger and more obvious ones. Also, the fact that her legs were shaking gave Emerald a big clue as to how apprehensive she was about sitting with her.
Emerald used to take pride in the fact that she could scare people with just a glance, but when she wasn’t trying to be intimidating it was disheartening that she was intimidating looking to some people. Hell, even werewolves want to be normal sometimes even if it was after a tragedy as great as mutant registration act.
The wolf girl’s dark blue eyes gazed up at Raina with a casual glance, breaking her train of thought. She put her sandwich down, swallowing the very large bite she had in her carnivorous mouth.
“As best as a seventeen year old can hold up after being locked in a concentration camp for mutants,” Emerald replied, grimly, leaning her back against the booths cushy seat. Her tail thumped on the seat, meaning that she was enjoying the fact that she was actually talking to someone. “Let’s just say I have been out a lot lately, seeing all the damage the humans have done to the mutants. From what I have seen, its almost to much for a grizzled mutant lab veteran like me to bear. Almost being the key word I have seen worst but the sheer emotional damage that these labs have done to some mutants are enough to last a lifetime.”
Emerald took another bite of her sandwich, eagerly munching on the meat inside of it. In her mind, the sandwich was one of the best inventions of all time, the perfect way to put meat and bread together all in a convenient and absolutely delicious package. The wolf girl then took a large swig of her rootbeer.
“Also I remember you from the camps as well as our brief encounter before that at the mansion. You attacked me with Ice after I tried to get back at the cop who brought us to the camps in the first place,” Emerald growled, before managing to calm herself down. “Don’t attack me again because I may attack back.”
Suddenly the words of ‘Sapphire’ And ‘friend’ Registered in the wolf girls mind. A laugh escaped her previously growling lips, a smile creeping across her face. Those words where never used in a sentence before and just the thought of them made Emerald laugh.
“Wait a minute are you telling me Sapphire actually has a friend? Sapphire has friend? She has a friend she hasn’t tried to kill yet or betray?” Emerald asked the grin still on her face. “Surely you must be joking?”

Raina eased a little bit as Emerald seemed relaxed and eager to speak. She could even hear her tail thumping a bit- that had to be a good sign. Raina smiled and listened to her speak feeling much better now.
She watched Em as she spoke. She couldnt believe this young woman who looked like she could be Raina's age was only 17. Em wore every life experieince she had on her. It made Raina wonder if Em's life had ever been stable.
“Also I remember you from the camps as well as our brief encounter before that at the mansion. You attacked me with Ice after I tried to get back at the cop who brought us to the camps in the first place,” Emerald growled, before managing to calm herself down. “Don’t attack me again because I may attack back.”
Raina caught the change of tone in her voice quickly and pushed back into her seat. She'd been calm but her kneese were banging together again. All she could do was advert Em's eyes with a gulp and whimper out "Sorry." she could sit here and argue with Em if she wanted... about how she loved Rupert, how she didn't know he'd be attacking the school, and she just knew he was her boyfriend who she didn't want hurt. But after everything that happened... did Rupert really need any defense? Besides. Emerald Lupin was someone you don't argue with.
“Wait a minute are you telling me Sapphire actually has a friend? Sapphire has friend? She has a friend she hasn’t tried to kill yet or betray?” Emerald asked the grin still on her face. “Surely you must be joking?”
Raina was so thankful that Emmy didn't take it any furthur than that. She must not really hold it against her if she changed subjects so quickly and Raina was relieved that her tone went back to a joking one. "I guess so." she replied with a musical laugh. "Naveed's mentioned her a few times, I think he's a little worried he hasn't seen her in a while. Also talks about another girl too who uses sound vibrations or something..." she trailed off.
"I saw Ruby, back at the mansion while I was helping out. I overheard her talking to Neena. I think she misses her big sister." she let that one hang in the air for a moment.
She turned her now empty glass around in her hands idly and watched it. "You know..." she started finally feeling brave. "Rupert got me pregnant." she admitted. Just saying the word out loud made her feel a pain in her tummy. She suddenly didn't look like the life-filled Raina with the bright eyes. She was dark, in pain. "I had suspicions... around the time of the raid..." she was quiet again for a moment hoping that Emerald would understand why she was telling her this. It wasn't an excuse for blasting her with ice... but Emerald had been through so much pain in her life maybe she could understand. It would be nice to have someone understand. " I didn't know for sure until the miscarriage after being processed at the camps." she twisted in her seat a little uncomfortable. not meeting Emerald's gaze. She hugged the jacket tighter.
ooc: thought we might as well have a heart to heart about pain and suffering! lol
Emerald hadn’t meant to make Raina tensen she just kind of wanted to get it through her head that she shouldn’t have attacked her. Not only the fact that she would have attack back but the fact that Em had a fear of being far too cold did not make her chances of winning without morphing increase any.
The woman seemed to brighten up when Emerald changed the subject which was good because Emerald didn’t want to scar her for life with her evil glare. She was still surprised however that Sapphire made a friend, this almost made Emerald drop her jaw in shock. Sapphire Lupin didn’t make friends, she killed them. Sapphire had killed more people and destroyed more lives than anyone else Emerald knew besides Fusionist. The fact that her eldest sibling actually befriended someone was miracle in itself. This made Emerald wonder, what kind of person was Raina’s older brother to like this bitchy Pyschopath sister of hers.
Her thoughts stopped cold when Raina mentioned Ruby, her body tensening immediately. Em’s eyes filled with absolute guilt when she glanced up at Raina. Ruby missed her? She had told Ruby she had to stay away from the mansion on and off because of her anger issues. Ruby had acted like she was fine with it but…she still really missed her. Emerald could’nt help but feel her heart ache for her baby sister, most likely thinking she was all alone now because she was out so much. She stared down at her rootbeer, waving her finger back and forth making the water from the rootbeer move.
“I can’t let Ruby see me tense like this, it will make her worry and I don’t want her to worry anymore than she has to. She has been through enough, the last thing she needs is to see her werewolf older sister start growling when someone makes the smallest joking comment.”
What Emerald stated was true, she didn’t want Ruby to be stressed out any more than she already was. Their room at the mansion was covered in Rubble and even after moving stuff only some of their possessions survived. Luckilly though, the ones that survived were the ones most important to them so at least there would be less emotional turmoil for the two sisters.
However, Emerald didn’t expect Raina’s next statement to be as deep as it was. She listened to it carefully, pondering how many ways she could kill the dammed cop, he was already on her shit list for what he did to her and her sister. The thing that bugged her the most was the fact that Raina still cared for him, he hated her and all like her but she still cared for him!
“You know all you are doing is giving me more reason to hate him.” Emerald told her, rolling her eyes. “Also….you are worst than I am when It comes to men I am chassed by a psychopathic rapist/murder, broke up with a homicidal psychic and was manipulated by a jack ass. You on the other hand are still attached to someone who shoved almost everyone you knew into a horrific hell. Not only that but he was the warden of said hell!”
Emeralds tone of voice was not angry as one would expect but more of a sympathetic one. The wolf girl herself had bad experience with men so she didn’t exactly trust every one she saw. Raina on the other hand was head over heals in love with someone who hated her guts. Or at least that what Emerald gathered last time she saw Rupert.
“Oh and if you are wondering I could smell his scent on the jacket when you came in.”
Emerald pulled her own jacket closer ot herself as a security thing, trying to reassure herself that it was still there and that she could still feel its warmth in this cold building. She took another bite of her sandwhich, chewing it slowly before swallowing hard, obviously feeling odd talking about her own past as well as the experience of another.

It made Raina feel good to know that Emerald cared so much about Ruby. "I understand your reasons." she said with a reassuring nod. "but sometimes no matter what shape we're in, family just needs family." she was going to leave it at that and not prod anymore. Ruby was a cute kid. She felt sad when the litle fox girl looked so down talking to Neena about her sister.
Raina listened to what Emerald had to say about Rupert and nodded her head. "You're right." she said in a stiff tone straitening up. "you're right about it all..." she pondered what to say next. "I think Rupert is scared more than anything. He was brought up to hate mutants, groomed for the job actually." she thought back to all the anti-mutant stuff Rupert had in his apartment. "but sometimes... Love doesn't care about those sorts of things. Love is really crueal actually." she wasnt so much talking to Emerald now as she was working her own thoughts out outloud. "It doesn't care what sort of differences you have with a person, they could be your mortal enemy...and your heart still longs for them."
She looked down on the sweater a little jealous that Em could smell him when she couldn't. She'd been wearing the sweater for nearly three weeks now and to her untrained nose all scent of Rupert was gone. "I can't turn it off." she said with a shrug. "I've tried, I want to... it just wont go away so I'm waiting for the day when Rupert wants me too, or the feelings go away."
It was the best she could come up with to explain her situation. Even if the wolf girl couldn't understand her at least now she might be able to empathise. Raina wasnt choosing anything. It was choosing her.
Emerald chewed her sandwhich slowly as Raina spoke again, her eyes narrowed in deep thought. It was not to long ago that she was in a similar situation as Raina…well except for the whoel boyfriend putting a bunch of people in the third ring of hell part. No, that was just Ruperts deal. However, from what Em was gathering, Raina had a similar attitude about Rupert as she did about Johnny not to long ago.
“Look Raina, Im gonna tell you something that I don’t tell a lot of people and I want you to listen to it and don’t judge me until you hear all of it. If you listen carefully, you will find we have both been in similar situations,”
There was a pause for Emerald to take a bite of her sandwhich and take another swig of her rootbeer. It was also so she could gather her thoughts and retain her calm attitude as she spoke about the men from her past. This wouldn’t be easy because the wolf girl was not used to sharing her past to anyone, Especially not someone she had just gotten to know, but she felt as if this had to be done in order for Raina to realize some things. Wether or not it would work the teen did not know, but hell it was worth a try and it was good to get things off ones chest every once and a while after you have been holding it in for years upon years.
“I fell in love with someone who I thought was the best boy in the world. He was smart, funny, extremely charming and he didn’t seem to mind the fact that I was a mutant. He was a mutant as well and he could manipulate peoples thoughts and dreams into doing his bidding. He was extremely power hungry and he ended up hurting the people I cared about, but I was to blinded to see how bad he could possibly get. He left for a while and this turned into weeks, then months then eventually a year without calling or anything of that nature,
“When he had come back I found out later he had gotten worst and the psychic eventually tried to manipulate me into thinkng that I had not seen anything after he killed a few humans for ‘the fun of it.’ Later on he messed with Ruby’s mind after she found one of the body parts from the humans he killed We Broke up after that because not only was he hurting my friends but he was hurting me and my family. Every time he left New York just a part of me died inside and I was hardly able to be around the opposite sex without thinking about him. The love I had for him was poisoning me so I had to learn to let him go after he had gone to far. He still cared for me and loved me I know that but it was best to expel his poison before all that was left of me was an empty shell of who I once was.”
Emerald finished her story, eating another huge chunk of meat from her sandwhich. Her eyes met Raina’s showing the emotion of remorse and inner pain from her love from the past. One could tell that part of it still killed her inside, making her unable to truly open up to people, again.
“I was in love with a human once as well, I thought he was my savior in the labs, he cared for me despite the fact I was a mutant. He often insulted me just for the hell of it but I had always thought it was because of the fact he was trying to cover for the fact he was giving me food. Later on come to find out he was working for the man who ran the labs and he was trying to gain my trust as part of an experiment. He said to me “Who could ever love a Monster like you.” And then I found out he hated me and just wanted to manipulate me. So I pushed him out a window before I escaped.”
There was another pause, “Don’t end up like me, don’t close yourself up from the people trying to get close to you. Because…you may end up pushing someone away who actually does care about you.’
At that moment Emerald’s hand went into her pocket for a moment before retrieving a small stuffed moose.
“I got this from someone who I believe has a crush on me. I keep pushing him away because my hearts been broken so many times I don’t know how to piece it back together….just don’t let that happen to you.”

Raina listened intently to Emerald's story- hanging on every word trying to imagine what it was like for the young woman. Young she was. Rupert had been her first- in so many ways- when she was 21. It was hard for Raina to even imagine Emmy going through so much before she was even 17. She gave a sigh to herself.
What Emerald said next froze Raina in her tracks, “Don’t end up like me, don’t close yourself up from the people trying to get close to you. Because…you may end up pushing someone away who actually does care about you.’
She instantly thought of Flloyd. Don't push out those who loved her? It was strange how a 17-year-old could know so much. But how could she forget Rupert? Was he just like the men who took advantage of Emerald? Was allowing her love to continue putting her and others in danger?
She already felt guilty enough for everything that happened. Her relationship with Rupert got the others caught even if it wasn't intentional. She tried once to apologize in the camps... she might need to say it a lot more to believe she deserved forgiveness.
It was then that Raina spied the stuffed moose Emerald was holding. It took her a moment to remember where she'd seen that before. "shield?" she questioned with a sly smile.
Emerald was glad Raina listened to her little story and she could tell that some of the wheels were turning in the womans head. However, upon mentioning shield with that sly tone of voice, Emerald’s face became tinged with a light pink blush. The wolf girl wasn’t exactly used to people figuring it out so quickly. Also the wolf girl couldn’t help but have a small crush on Michael as well though she felt as if she would never admit it.
“Yea Its Shield…he got it for me to cheer me up because everyone forgot my last birthday.” Emerald responded, tail wagging back and forth rather sheepishly.
At that moment Emerald’s face actually showed her age. She looked like a normal seventeen year old girl crushing over a normal boy. It was actually quite nice to see the young wolf girl like this because it showed that she did have the ability to shed her normally rough and tough shield every once and a while.
“I dunno he tried to take care of me while we were in the camps and I started growing some feelings for him that he obviously had for me but….I think I have forgotten how to let someone who could possibly love me close to me.” Emerald replied with a sad smile.
((Sorry Its a bit short. Em is a bit confused about Michael and she doesnt quite know what to think. Poor girl))

ooc: hehe Raina is 22 actually, she referenced being 21 because that's how old she was when it happened
ic: Raina gave a girlish giggle watching Em. Seeing her sit there so bashful made Raina forget what a tyrant she could be when provoked by an enemy. She looked like a normal teenaged girl. There was still some innocence in Emerald even though it was small. It gave Raina a little hope. Sure Emerald was sitting here talking about not letting people in- but by her body language and expression it was easy to see she might be accidently letting Sheild in without even knowing it.
"Shield's a good guy. When I was in the camps he helped with my collar." she rubbed her neck out of habbit. There was a scar all the way around it from the collar. "Anytime I spoke it trigger my mutation. It hurt constantly. He stopped that for me. I forget he's so young." she joked.
"I hope we can be friends Em." she said after a few moments silence had passed. "I'm thinking of moving back into the mansion. With all the new people coming and all the people who have left it would be nice to have a familiar face." she smiled a sincere smile from across the table at the wolf girl and her gray filled eyes looked into hers.
Emerald smiled lightly at Raina, tail wagging back and forth like a propeller to a plane. It was actually sort of nice to have someone being nice to her for once. After the camps, Emerald didn’t exactly think it was possible for anyone to be kind to her ever again but this whole encounter proved her assumption wrong. The wolf girl listened to what Michael did for Raina at the camps and smiled that wolfish smile. It was a rather childish smile she had on her face like one of a happy puppy who had just gotten her ears scratched.
“He is really something isn’t he…he even cares for the a big bad wolf like me. Such a strange thing.” Emerald started in a dreamy voice before a look of pure realization came across her face.
Emmy shook her head from side to side as if shaking off a bad feeling. She had an absolutely dumbfounded look on her face. Number one, Raina wanted to be her friend, number two, she was talking about Michael as if she was some sort of Love Struck teenager! This made no sense to her, she shouldn’t feel this way about anyone after all that’s happened, she shouldn’t feel this attached. She didn’t want to get attached…she didn’t want to get hurt again.
“Sure I will be you friend Raina, besides I kinda need more packmates anyways. Its sometimes lonely being by yourself out in this city or in the forest. I have Ruby but I would like have someone to hang out with it’s been a while since I have been normal anyways,” Emerald stated in a sheepish tone, taking another sip of her soda. Her blue eyes met grey ones and her eyes couldn’t help but show a small bit of happiness to them. “What do you mean thinking about coming back?! You are coming back even if I have to drag you!”

Raina gave a laugh. "There's a few things I need to figure out Em. I'm technically an illegal immegrant. I'm trying to find a way to extend my visa or become a citizen or something. It's a really tricky process and even trickier for a registered mutant." she shrugged. "After the camps though, everything seems like a breeze." she gave a silent smile. "Im sure it will all work out."
Her cell phone started to buzz- she hadn't noticed yet. "Maybe we can train together Em. I know you don't like ice but it might give you a resistance, and there's a lot I can learn from you too." Finally she checked the phone- Naveed was buzzing her. She furrowed her eyebrows. "I think I have to get going, you get home alright? Visit your sister" she smiled.
Emerald thought about Raina's situation with the whole Illegal immgration thing and wondered if she could be any help with the situation. The wolf girl knew alot of people who could pull a few strings for her if she asked the right favors from people. Though she didn't know how much help she could be with all the people disliking mutants so much after the camps.
Upon the mentioning of Ice the wolf girl shuddered slightly, thinking of the cold object hitting her bare skin. "I will train with you...but if you use your Ice powers I am gonna have to be in wolf form. Besides Ice does not treat water to well." Emerald responded with a slight grimace. Her expressions changed to a slightly happy one once she spoke next. "I will go see Ruby and go back to the mansion so anyone who is actually is worried about me can have thier minds at ease now."

"Good." Raina was standing now and straitening up her things pulling the jacket up around her despite the heat. "Speaking of the mansion, I need to get back. There's lots to be done. I need to check in with Naveed too or he'll be worried." She gave Emerald a smile and a wave. "I'll be seeing you soon!"
With that the red head left the place with the jingle of the door
