" Well after you, Coffee doesn't sound bad but they also have a mean pastry chef somewhere in there employee. I think It might be a mutant with pastry powers."


"Oh yeah, no wonder the pastry's are soo good."
Tris said, trying to keep a straight face, but then she couldn't help imagining an actual person with super pastry powers, and that to to much for her serious face- Pluto was hilarious, and she burst out laughing at they headed out the door and down towards the maze of corridors towards the place where the food lived.

" so you haven't seen one up close and personal yet have you? a stalker that is?" He began with on topic banter as they exited the room.

Was Pluto's next question.
Tris shook her head, replying;
"Sadly no, heard alot, seen the schematics, but the actual face to face has eluded me till now.....insanely curious about them though- how they fight, who they are controlled by and all that......What were your experiences with them?"
Tris finished, her words all in a rush- insatiable curiosity girl, that was Tris.

Tris's only sign of slightly shocked surprise was the look on her face and her trademark raised eyebrow, but she kept walking and listening, and didn't think Pluto caught it. Tris wasn't exactly the killing type, more the threaten, scare, or blackmail people into submission kinda girl, killing was just so final and yuck- epically with her power it would be. However Pluto and Venus both seemed to be up for it, and enjoying it even, and well, if the police well stupid enough to try apprehend them, they deserved all they got.....its just, she didn't know the clones that well and that was a side she hadn't seen before- might take alittle adjusting too that her new friends could turn into killers in a heartbeat....okay okay, that was overstating it alittle, but still.

The androids however are very mean, I saw quite a few of them, they move like beasts and fight like beasts. I half suspect they are cyborg Cats. They move like they are intelligent and they are. they are sleek and scary in appearance and have the fight in them to back it up. There are few things I take seriously in a fight, these are one that make the list easy, there are diffrent types. they have blades on their arms knees and tails. they shoot gas from there mouths and have stuff in their tails that can inject you with anti x gene crap. they can shoot lasers and can climb on walls and go cloaked and I believe they can fly.' He sighed. " so you can make things not move? that might be a nice surprise for those bastards. sorry bout the language."

...but the talk about the stalker bots put all that right out of Tris's head as she listened in awed amazement.
"Gees, these thing sound pretty lethal- who would design something like that.....its horrible... we really need to find some kyptonite or something for these crazy robots.
Was Tris's reply to Pluto's list of the Stalkers skills and abilities. But when he suggested she might freeze em, she kinda of blushed and looked away, alittle sad she couldn't do more yet;
"Sorry to spoil your fun there cowboy, buts its a kinda new thing of mine- if I tried to freeze something that big and fast....I might just put myself in a coma."
but she had to smile at the last bit;
"Dude, chill- I've worked in a hell of a lot of bars and clubs- language aint really an issue with me."

" As it could be helpful to us mind if pry a bit. Have you tried on a small area? say instead of freezing me in place you froze my shirt or my shoes? maybe get more bang for your buck?"

"Mmmmmmm."
Tris murmured in a thoughtful way, thinking of the possibilities of what Pluto had suggested, before leaning in closer to him and saying quietly;
"You volunteering to be my test dummy."
then giggled and stuck out her lounge at him.

He then smirked at the dude chill comment. "Well, S*** I'm sorry for the lack of language then.hmm, that explains a bit of your tolerance and more of my brother. but that is not what we are here to discuss is it?"

Tris laughed at the language thing, but her ear's perked up at the mention of Venus, her 'this could be fun' face slipping into place as she calculated the likelihood of Pluto giving her some good goss on the other clone- very high, she decided;
"Well actually, I wouldn't mind...."
she started, but Pluto was too focused on food to hear her.

And wow was he focused.
Tris's eyes widened in glee at the amount of sugary goodness Pluto heaped on his plate and the solidified sugary 'goo' in his cup. Tris followed after the great red whirlwind of doughnutness at a slow walk, picking up for herself a bowl of chips and proceeding to drown them in gravy as well as a thickshake- what, they all had their little quirks.

As he was absorbed in intricate pastry talk, Tris went to sit down at a table till Pluto was done and came on over.

When he did she greeted him with a big smile, complimenting;
"Wow, and I thought I was a sugar addict...but I find I must bow down to the master."

Then as he was sitting down, she turned her expression t a serious one;
"Now, to get down to the immediate business, we can talk about the mission in a sec, but right now I'd really like to know every little embarrassing detail you wanna tell me about your brother Venus."
Her grin broke out onto her face again- it couldn't stay hidden for long.

"if you wish to learn the way of getting diabetes I can teach you well. anyways. I was wondering what would happen say if you lifted your foot into the air and froze the shoe, could you step up from there? as it couldn't move or does your power defy gravity? if it does you could walk on air."

Tris smiled but didn't say anything to Pluto's musing since she had more immediate concerns, but she did store it away for later- interesting possibilities there.

She had to laugh at Pluto's mournful face when she suggested talking business, but he quickly cheered up again when he found the business she was infact talking about- was his brother Venus.

"oh, and what might I gain from this little exchange, that is to say who do you have dirt on?"

Oh great, he knew the game- she had asked for information of his brother, and he would give it to her.....but for a price.

Tris pulled on her 'innocent' poker face while considering his proposal carefully.
Who did she know things about? hmmmm, what she'd been briefed on about the Order and the X-men, alittle about Kit, Shogun, Zephryr, and most importantly Hunter.

The order and the x-men she could blab about no problem, cause he probably knew about them already. She inwardly laughed- how funny would it be if she started throwing back 'dirt' on his own team, she would do that if pressed.
....But there was no way in hell she would give away information about Hunter or the Kabal, pending date or no.

But blackmail was also a good option- Tris decided to give it ago...

Tris smiled sweetly if alittle sadly, this combined with her wide eyes innocent face- a sure sign she was about to lie.
"Alas, I've mainly been in training these past few months- ever since I got here really, and training in solitude because my ability can be so dangerous."
She paused for a moment, her expression becoming more teasing;
"Although I umm......I might know alittle something about you some time soon."
she said with a faint smug grin, laying her metaphorical chips on the table as it were.
"Ya see, heres how I see it- either you tell me all the funny and embarrassing stories about Venus and what he's been up to....or.....we spend the entire date talking about everything Pluto based- most embarrassing habits, most humiliating memory....ya know, just chit chat like that. Information I will get, cause I can be rather persuasive when I wanna be."

she winked, watching his expression- some dont take as kindly as others to this sort of thing, and it didn't always work.....she hoped the humors red dude could handle it.

Tris watched Pluto carefully- he wasn't mad, but he wasn't going to give her the information either.

DAMN- that wasn't very nice of him.

What also was rather annoying was the fact he stuck he tounge out at her and went promptly to ignoring her.

She was aggrivated it was true, but there was no way she was playing it his way.

Tris sighed loudly, getting her face into a suitable apologetic expression- planing to give it one more try before she gave up entirely.
"Your right, your right Pluto- I tried to play a player and it didn't work out. I'm sorry okay, I just......I get alittle nervous before my dates is all, like to know what I'm getting into.....but I respect your decision- you dont wanna rat on your brother right now, its cool......I guess I wanted to kick our little coffe adventure off with some fun.....but we might as well get down to business- so stalkers and strategy- lets discuss."

" He sometimes wears women's underwear!"

Was the blurted response to Tris's not so humble plea- right, she thought. She had hoped this plan would work, and well, it might be true, but Tris decided to hold her judgment of this information till later when she could asses its accuracy- right now she would play this game the sugar addicted Pluto's way.

She assumed an innocent, wide eyes interested expression and let him go on.

"I have good stuff on him." now then what do you know about....." who had annoyed him as of late, well maybe not annoyed. " do you have anything fun on Kitra? " He smirked she would be fun to bug.

Ahhhh- so he still wanted to do the information swap thing, well Tris could do that, the information might not be true, but atleast it would would seem truer than his.

"Kit has a two piece pair pf velvety pj's- on the top they have 'kiss me, love me', and on the bottom 'bite me."
Tris quickly and anxiously exclaimed, as if imparting a great secret, and wanting not to get caught....of course Tris had no idea what pj's Kit actually had, the afore mentioned pair happening to be Tris's own, but for the purpose of this excerise, she needed good imagery.
She would tell Kit about her conversations with the red men folk later of course, and was sure Kit would laugh at what she'd just said.

he then looked at the dough nuts. that is my strategy. "You are the one with pink and white sprinkles.

"Ooooo"
she whispered, looking at the donuts as well;
"What am I playing?"
she asked- wondering what place she had in his strange game.

While a smirk or two was indeed the entitlement for Pluto's admission of Venus's choice in music, Tris couldn't get a comment in edgewise it seemed as Pluto moved on.


"You are playing you.Thats Hades and this is me."

Was the red mans response to Tris's aforementioned question as he laid out nummie treats with the grace and skill of a master tactician.

Tris shook her head slightly as she watched the pastry action play, taking a split second more to readjust to the change to conversation- after all, she, while being a women and therefore a mulitasker, was not quite up to scratch with the Abyss clone whos daily existence and entertainment depended on this talent.

......still, she watched avidly as her sprinkle painted self was moved into position and used to defend the perimeter of their location, nodding confirmation at Pluto's plot points.

" The pastry is a stalker and the dough nut holes are our comrades. we are responsible for up and everything in front of us. I say we give those behind us some space and keep a determined watch on our directions. Now you and hades will be responsible for the attack up until it it within reach or your powers will harm us as well, in which I will take up the fight. After which I will get a hold of it and wrestle the thing until It is dead or we can find out what of our powers are effective on it. it is a bit broad but, it is better than nothing."


Tris smiled;
"It's a good plan."
she assured.
"Tight enough to give us direction, but flexible enough to roll with whatever happens....Defiantly workable."
This statement said in all seriousness, saying she could cope with her part in this whole situation. Though it had to be said, Tris hated being serious for a period longer than 10 seconds almost more than Pluto, so she smiled and turned the conversation silly again.

"I also think you are good enough to eat...."
and wickedly grin on her face, made a lightening fast grab for the donut hole that was Pluto. With that smile still on her face, she took a big bite......gauging him at the same time, seeing what he would do next.

Tris it seemed, could not stop giggling the whole time Pluto preformed retaliatory action and ate the donut version of her- all pretty and pink and sprinkled.

"I hope this doesn't happen in the real mission. speaking of which, I wouldn't mind having some time to get some rest before hand. what do you think?"

"I hope you dont try to eat me on the up comming mission either."
was Tris's mirthful comment.
"Cause that would be just plain uncomfortable.....and Resting? you? resting....sick of me already are you....oh well, whats a girl to do."
she shrugged and grinned, showing she didn't mind.
"Oh well, I might depart and leave you to your rest as I have a date to look stunning for."
a wink followed this, before Tris stood up and nodded all business like;
"Its been good to meet you Pluto- you mister, are awesome, it will be a pleasure working with you."
And with a grin she turned to walk away, throwing back over her shoulder;
"Oh, and tell your brother he better not be late."
before she laughed and was off to her rooms.
