The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Crystal appeared overhead, not really because she needed to; she could watch the show just as easily from behind the holocams. But the scene was so funny, she just feel the urge to see it up close and personal. While the group figured out the rug, Crystal doubled over laughing.
"I am SO using this footage as blackmail!" she laughed aloud, then added a brief, "Whoops!" as Pluto burst into the room. "Guess that's my cue to skiddoo. Hah!"
She vanished back behind the holocams. This group was the closest to Katrina, and she needed to watch them closely. The other 'Crystals' reported in, and she relayed the information to them as well.
(OOC sorry if i missed someone/ moved on to quickly)
So, the most sensible option would be for them to search the ground floor, but with a number of rooms leading into their entrance hall, this still gave them plenty of choice. After Abyss finished finding out nothing what so ever, Nox called to the group, “Well I suppose we just pick a doorway and hope we get lucky”. She was eying the nearest on the left, whose half opened wooden door revealed a deep red carpet. Might as well try. If none of the others had any objections, she figured this one would be fine; they just needed to quickly check that it was empty and then proceed to the next one. Nox approached the ornamentally craved wooden door and pressed upon it revealing a richly furnished library.
Since all the excitement of the flying carpet was gone, Nox was ready to move on and already had a door in mind. "Sure let's begin". As Nox opened the door Mandain was a bit wandering around in the back, but there was nothing interesting to be found. He didn't open any doors, this way there was no chance of him opening a bad door and making things worse. Making a quick passe over to wards Nox who had opened the door further then it already was Mandain looked over her shoulder to see a library was revealed. "Books, don''t like books but could there be a clue in this room?" Mandain started looking around the huge room filled with books, if there would be a clue he and the rest would be the ones to find it. But if there wasn't a clue, it would be just a normal library, of course filled with books.
[[OOC:Yes i know i'm a very inconsistant RPer and i'm sorry DX]]
IC:Geo stood in the back of the group, making a smart ass comment now and then but otherwise staying out of the way. When they came that they began searching through doors Geo decided that it was time to hop back in the game, "Scooby Doo anyone?" He commented, the situation reminded him of the old cartoon, lots of doors and the big bad spooky might be behind one. He followed Mandian into the library and started to look around. He ran his finger along the books as he looked around, stopping as he came to a book that looked rather out of place. He reached out to grab it but stopped, he didn't like the feel of this place. Seemed a bit eerie in his mind, "Yo guys. Come here and check this out." He called out towards Abyss. He pulled on the gloves, they were tattered from being torn from the bushes and were begining to become a hastle to keep on.

(OOC: Sorry I've been sparatic. Lot of stress irl. )
While Abyss attempted to catch up to Pluto, unsuccessfully, Crystal focused on Geo and the others.
"Scooby Doo anyone?"
Crystal grinned. "How about 'Sword in the Stone' instead?"
Several moments later the ground heaved violently, as if an earthquake had hit the castle. Books were knocked off of the shelves and tables toppled over. However, instead of staying down, things began to fly around the room, as if possessed by bats or ghosts. They began dive-bombing the mutants, and swarming them.
Crystal's intent was more to distract them from Pluto's, and the hidden Katrina's, exit.
(OOC, I wrote this before Iris posted but didn’t have the chance to post it, so I hope you don’t mind if Nox makes it out of the library and joins the chase)
It was a simple question: keep looking in random rooms or chase a target. Strangely enough, Nox in this situation choose the later. The decision was made almost instantly after Abyss proposed this new tact, which meant Nox was on his heels. In this way the earthquake that followed her wake remained unknown to her, since it seemed only to effect a very limited area. She possessed no superhuman speed, but she was, however, in good physical shape and so wasn’t left behind by an Abyss with gravity weights. When faced with the wooden door, however, Nox did something rather out of character – she slammed her shoulder into it. No tactics, just force. With her gained momentum, the door resentful swung open again, revealing a streak disappearing round a corner.
Hoping that the others were following, which unkown to her wasn't the case for most of them, she continued her mindless dash. Her passage wasn’t entirely clear, in fact a more precise description would mentioned the various objects that had to be dodged, and the various ornaments which in this process were crashed into. She knew, however, that her luck wouldn’t hold, in fact in would probably end in a collision when her reflexes eventually failed her.
Katrina’s invisible eyes widened as Abyss lunged toward them. She heard him say something about getting info out of him. She almost squeaked in surprise at his sudden move toward them, but held her tongue; it wouldn’t do to be making extra noises now.
Katrina hung on to Pluto’s head as he turned and ran through the door and he hung on to her with his tail. She turned and looked back. She could see Abyss running after them with his wrist weights and a blonde haired woman following just behind him before Pluto slammed a door between them. They set off a few of their own noisy and wet traps and put a few more doorways in between them.
(Continued in Southern Section. Anyone who follows Abyss and Kat, post there. Those who aren’t chasing can keep posting here.)
Books started falling, but not hitting the ground, same as chairs would have fallen down, but instead they were flying around the room. "Well, this is strang..." He coulden't finish his sentence because some books were flying at him like, well like flying books. Before the earthquake he heard something about Sword in the Stone, King Arthur that had to be, Excalibur. Geo had also found something but the earthquake had made that progression go away. As Mandain was dogging, lying on the floor, and jumping like a mad man, he looked for Abyss and Nox, though they were nowhere to be found. "Geo, any ideas on where the rest is"?
Geo chuckled absent mindely at the sword in the stone comment, but he caught on a little to late. He took a book square in the face and was knocked onto his back next to the fallen Mandain. He glanced towards the door as he mentioned the absence of the others. "Only one way to find out," He spoke before half crawling half running out of the library, not without being struck by a book or two. Once in the hall it didn't take him long to realize where the others had gone. He saw a path of destruction and blonde hair whipping around the corner. He glanced back inside at Mandain still lying on the floor, part of him said to leave him and go but another said to help. Geo ran back into the library keeping low. "Come on man it's easy to find where they went." He held out his hand towards him, 'you can thank Deja for this' he thought to himself without saying a word, prepared to follow Mandain down the hall.
Mandain firmly grabbed the hand of Geo and got pulled out of the library. "Thanks, I owe you one" He gave a wink and as usual he dusted himself off and tightened his tie. "Let's follow and try to get the kid so we can leave, I'm done playing games. He started making a run threw the door where Abyss and Nox presumebly had gone threw.

<"Things just got interesting....">
Crystal blinked, connecting with her other selves. <"Incoming!"> she warned the Southern Watch as Nox and Abyss forsook the Living Library for a halway chase.
Geo and Mandain took a bit longer to hop on the trail, but soon they too were joining the chase. Crystal hopped from one holocam to another, watching the chase like a silent ghost, until she met up with one of her clones above the meeting North and South teams.
