The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

When Juniper said she didn't understand some of her words she looked horrified as she was completely at fault. "N-no I am sorry I slipped back to Japanese for a second. Yokai means demon and Kawaii means cute. I tend to slip on certain words when I am excited or happy." Giving Juniper a huge lopsided grin and a shrug. She was excited for some girl time! Obviously not holding Junipers upbringing against her, that would be just rude!
"Awesome! I can give you my number and you can text me anytime." Thankfully her phone auto translated from English to Japanese courtesy of her awesome sister. She might even have to start carrying it around with her more! She was hoping for something sooner, but that was alright.
Instead of having to brute force the door open, which was where her thinking was going, Juniper did some awesome ghost stuff and she took the jar quickly from her exhausted looking friend.
"That was so cool! I will try to remember. That is like the best power ever!" She gushed and moved a bit away to check the coast was clear before offering a free hand to her. "Only one part done we better proceed to the next part. You know where Scotts room is so lead on." Looking way too excited to exact some childish revenge.
"Ooooh." Well, that made a lot more sense then. "Demon glitter. Cute nail polish. I get it!" She grinned back easily, "don't worry about it, really! I'm a big dumb when it comes to language, but it's still neat to hear. Maybe you'll even end up teaching me a thing or two."
Himari gushed about her power and Juniper took the offered hand. "Eh, it's got uses that's for sure. I'd say being able to hang upside down like you did before was cooler."
Now that they had their revenge glitter, they just needed the douche's room. Luckily it wasn't far. They were on the floor above it and only a hallway down.
"Okay, I'll get us there in a jiffy. Hang on tight!" And then she phased the both of them right through the floor. They smack in the middle of the hallway below.
"Okay... lesse... three doors down, two to the right, should be- Ah! There it is. I'd recognize that door anywhere." He'd decorated it in an attempt to be 'different' from the rest of the doors in the hall.
"Let's go see if he's inside."
The trip a few doors down was quick and obviously uneventful, and when she got there she poked her face inside to see if the coast was clear.
"Looks like he's out! All clear!" She whispered and pulled Himari through the door with her. Scott's room was... eh, about the same as the last time she'd seen it honestly.
"Alright. Watchu wanna do? I'll follow your lead here."

Juniper was so totally wrong and she was determined to point it out. "Yeah but I can't walk through them."
"Hang on?" Glancing to the hand and just like that they were through the floor. WHAT?! She could even take people with her. Whoah this was way too cool and a bit scary.
The door annoyed her.. it was covered in football worship crap and it was the sort of thing she had come to expect from a womanizing meathead like Scott Summers. This was for women everywhere! After another trip through solid objects Himari decided she would never get used to it. Looking around at the room her nose crinkled as it smells weird too, but it could have been just her. OKay she hated everything about this guy it was official. Well not hate perhaps but strong dislike.
Then she was put in charge and she examined the room with an eye for disruption. "Hmm. Why don't you start fusing anything with drawers to the ceiling while I put some glitter in each of the drawers?" Moving to do just that, she opened the first drawer and took the lid off the huge container of glitter, very, very ,very carefully making sure not to kick it up too much or get it on herself. It certainly wouldn't do to leave evidence on herself! Once the dresser was complete she moved to do the nightstand.. then his backpack, then anything else she could find that was remotely container like.
"Oh! Think you could fuse the draws shut a bit, but make them break open when they are yanked? The meathead might just get a ladder to get his clothes and we wouldn't want it to be that easy would we?" She certainly didn't!
