The video loaded up, opening with a pixelated heart lighting up pixel-by-pixel until it turned from shades of grey into a vibrant rainbow pattern, all accompanied by a midi-jingle credited to one of the members of the community. The intro faded out and Pixelbecky faded in, wearing one of the shirts from The Pow Block Party’s collection with her hair tied back in a high ponytail. In the background of the shot the audience could see a couch, a bookshelf filled with books, comics, and movies facing forward, and some community fan art on the lavender walls. Pixelbecky grinned to the camera and offered a wave. "Awrite, aw mah lads an' lassies! As alays, Ah'm Pixelbecky, an' welcome tae Pixel Hearts!
“Noo today, Ah was hopin' tae gab abit current events. Whit better way tae dae 'at than wi' some hard-hittin' meme analysis!” Rebecca clapped her hands together and sighed. ”Och aye, that's whit it means tae live in th' twenty-first century. We're experiencin' world-changin' events 'at will live oan forever in gifs an' memes. Sae whaur better tae start than wi' uir meme-in-chief.”A clip of her universe’s America’s president played on screen with Pixelbecky’s voice running over it. ”As ye main hae seen, he hud a press conference abit th' Universal 'Rip' an' it went... as well as ye’d think.”The video was joined by the related voice clip from the president. “So there’s another reality over there and we are taking this very serious. Very serious. I’m in talks with their guy over there and we’re gonna hammer out the details, but first and foremost, I am about looking out for our reality. We all know we are the Main Reality. Original Universe. The best universe."Pixelbecky returned to frame, rubbing her temples with her fingers. ”Classic, reit? Weel, if yoo've bin oan th' internit at aw since 'en, yoo'd know fowk hae taken 'at clip an' rin wi' it. An' th' memes hae bin glorious as we aw revel in th' glory ay th' MROverse.” The vlogger could not help but take a moment to laugh at the absurdity of it all. ”An' Ah’m genuinely impressed. Ah turned oan th' news an' they waur callin' us th' MROverse. Guid job, internit. Ah feel loch a prood ma.”Raising a finger to add a counterpoint, she said, ”But! It's important ye know yoo're nae th' only kings an' queens ay memes. Ah've bin tae th' other side, an' they hae coontered by declarin' themselves th' Awesomeverse. An' aye, 'The AV' is really part ay th' nomenclature ower thaur, noo.”Meow!Pixelbecky did not bother to look over her shoulder at the Bengal cat that she assumed had claimed his favorite spot on the arm of the couch. ”Gavin’s in th’ fram, isnae he?” She rolled her eyes, nonplussed. ”Whatever, we're rollin' wi' it; Ah’m nae cuttin' thes again.”Returning to the topic at hand, Rebecca sighed. ”Ah brin' thes aw up nae jist tae gab abit th' cross-cultural significance ay interdemensional memes, thocht Ah’m nae rulin' 'at it as a later video. Ah wanted tae point thes it coz it's important 'at we know th' people oan th' other side ay th' Rip ur jist that: people. People jist loch us, some guid, some bad.
“It’s easy tae be scared. We're livin' in a whole new warld, figuratively. People will try tae divide us an' make ye fear th' possibility ay ‘Rippers,’ especially mutants, comin' ower tae uir warld. Dornt listen tae th' hate. Ye hae nae reason tae fear those frae The AV anymair than ye hae tae fear anyain in th' MROverse. When things gie strange, unity matters, an' 'at doesnae jist mean unity within uir side.”Gavin had wandered from the couch, stalking up the frame until he hopped into his owners lap, prompting a surprised, ”Oh, hi!” Still rolling with the punches, Pixelbecky scritched the top of Gavin’s head, to the delight of the purring cat, and continued with her final point. ”Ah know uir community has bin stoatin wi' acceptin' others, regardless ay race, gender, orientation, ur genetics. Aw Ah ask is, when ye meit someain frae th' other side, an' Ah’m sure ye will, treat them loch th' meme-lovin' friends they ur. Th' MROverse has a reputation tae maintain,” she reminded her viewers with a grin and a wink. ”As aways, if yoo're new, Ah hope ye stick aroond an' subscribe. New ur auld, make sure tae burst 'at loch button an' lae me yer comments. Hae ye hud experiences wi' anyain frae The AV? Hae ye gain fur a visit thaur yerself? Teel me abit it belaw!”
“Until next time, luvs, thes is Pixelbecky signin’ off!” Rebecca waved at the camera with both hands, (much to the annoyance of her cat,) smiling brightly. ”Bye!”
