Character

Personality: Stan would be classed by many as uneducated; he is a high school drop out with only a rudimentary grasp of core subjects. He is often short tempered and rude as a result, prone to outbursts and a bully mentality to anyone smaller or weaker than him. His time incarcerated has led to a predisposition to violence, seeking to resolve matters physically rather than mentally. Despite this he shows affection towards those that help him and certainly when he is offered food; Stan will spend nearly every waking moment eating whenever possible.
Hobbies/ Interests: Cooking and eating food, eating competitions and monster trucks.
Job or part time job and description: Stan is currently unemployed due to his time in prison.
Fears/ phobias/ concerns: Stan is a compulsive eater and will also eat to an extreme level when stressed. Has a phobia of starving after his harsh treatment in his teenage years.

Morality

Good/ bad/ neutral/ other: Bad, due to his upbringing and time in prison Stan has no qualms about committing crimes and hurting anyone who gets in the way of what he wants (which is often his next meal).

Mutations

Mutation description:
Engorged Stomach – Stan’s stomach has swollen to a massive round mass of muscle. The skin around his stomach has hardened to have the same defensive properties of Kevlar and due to the thick skin and hardened stomach lining Stan is capable of using his stomach as a weapon. At a run Stan can use his stomach as a battering ram, hitting targets with a force of 2000N. At a standstill Stan hits targets with a force of 1500N. Due to his hardened muscle around the stomach he is capable of absorbing heavy impacts and forces if they make contact with this area, this allows Stan to use his stomach to smash through brick walls without injuring himself and can absorb the shock of a gunshot without flinching.
Due to Stan’s mutation he is also capable of digesting food, minerals and materials that would usually be impossible for a human to do so. Stan has been able to eat every possible item of food one can imagine (which has led to his success at eating competitions) and also digest stone, base metals, wood and plastics; although he is unable to eat anything irradiated, mystical or otherwise infused with forces or power that exceed usual natural laws.
Toxins and poisons have a limited effect on him due to his mutation, although toxins and poisons that are fatal to normal humans will eventually kill him if exposed for too long. As an example if Stan ingests bleach it would not cause the immediate violent reaction as it would to a normal human, instead he would only suffer the same effect if he drank a gallon of bleach in one go.
Strengths: Stan Strumer is a physically powerful mutant, dominating his opponents with his size and weight. His ability to digest nearly anything has allowed him to survive in hostile environments.
In terms of physical strength Stan is equivalent to a world champion power lifter, able to lift up to 130kg when fully exerting himself.

Weaknesses and Limitations: While Stan is physically powerful he has little to no mental resistance and is easily dominated by those with the ability to manipulate minds.
In addition while he is able to absorb a lot of force and trauma through his gut he will eventually succumb to continuous or powerful attacks and while protected the attacks against him will hurt and eventually drain his stamina (continuous smashing through walls of a period of a 5 minutes will fully exhaust Stan) . The rest of his body is also not as well protected and will suffer damage in the same manner as a regular human with his size and stature would.
If Stan goes for long periods without food he will suffer terrible stomach aches that can leave him paralyzed with pain, this usually happens within 12 hours without food. Stan can hold off this pain should he eat anything not deemed proper food (stone, metals etc) although this will usually only hold this off for a further 24 hours.
Stan will be more sluggish and weaker should he not eat at least 5000 calories a day, he can function on a lower amount but his attacks and abilities will be less effective in this ‘weakened’ state. While ‘weakened’ Stan’s strength, durability, endurance and speed all reduce by 50%, should Stan not consume over 5000 calories in a 48 hour period he has been known to collapse.


Physical Abilities

General Physical Capabilities: Stan is very strong; his mutation leading to an increase in his muscle mass and his durability against physical damage is higher than that of an average human. However due to his size he is not very agile and will tire out after prolong periods of physical exertion.
Fighting Style: Stan has no formal fighting style; though he has learned basic tenants of street brawling while in prison.

History Of Your Character
Stan Strumer was born into an impoverished family at the end of the 80’s. Growing up with little to nothing made his early years difficult, however one thing he could always rely on was his mother. A kind and jolly women she would always ensure that Stan was happy; which often translated as delicious meals. While this gave him much joy the inevitable effects of over eating took their toll and by the time he reached high school he was an obese young man in a world that made him an easy target for bullies. Like many young men in his situation he was bullied constantly, for his weight and his economic status which led to more eating as a way to dull the pain.
To make matters worse Stan’s mother died of a heart attack and Stan was forced to live with his aunt, a strict woman who took him in out of family obligation more than any level of affection. She loathed his size and deemed it the reason for his mother’s death; constantly cooking him meals put too much strain on her she would remind him. To this end she would lock him in his room for hours at a time, refusing to feed him, at school he was forced to take nothing but water and bread which would often be taken by the bullies that still harassed him.
It was at this time that Stan’s mutant abilities manifested, as he drew near to the end of his time at high school his body began to change. Despite the lack of food given to him his body inexplicably grew in size, his stomach distending and the rest of his body growing thick slabs of muscle. His aunt tried in vain to prevent this but it soon became evident that nothing prevented Stan’s growth. His new size and stature provided Stan with the power to fight back; he turned the tables on his tormentors in violent fashion.
Stan went on a rampage, smashing apart his aunt’s house, causing her to flee in terror from Mobile, Stan then proceeded to the school and beat the bullies who had tormented him for years half to death. It was only with the intervention of the local police that Stan was subdued and sentenced to an extended stay in prison. While there Stan’s mutation continued to change his body, swelling to an enormous size; his gut especially was a point of shock and disgust from his fellow inmates. After serving 11 years in prison Stan was eventually realised (mostly due to the fact that the Alabama prison system could not afford to feed him at the rate he was eating) and like most cons struggled to find any real employment safe for the occasional eating completion which he excelled at . Stan (taking the name Irongut due to his eating prowess) now seeks other mutants to raise hell with and has only the goal to feed his hunger; both for food and for mayhem.

Sample RP:
Stan’s stomach was growling as he walked through the dark streets of Mobile at midnight. He had not eaten for the last two hours, the fourteen hot dogs he had ransacked from a hotdog cart a distant memory; although he was sure the vendor would remember it vividly when he woke up. Stan sniggered at this and was so busy reminiscing about those hotdogs that he did not notice the black van pulling up in front of him; his rock hard stomach impacted with the vehicle and even at a walking pace the van skidded sideways a few feet to the middle of the road.
“What the hell was that!?,” An angry voice could be heard from the interior of the dented van, swiftly followed by a large muscular man exiting the vehicle, baseball bat in hand.
Stan barely noticed the van or the man now shouting at him, he had just noticed a Chinese buffet across the road and he felt his stomach give another booming growl. As he moved to cross the road the man with the bat jumped in front of him, despite the size difference it seemed the man was confident in his advantage with the piece of wood he was wielding.
“Hey freak, you realise what you just did? I just got that ride back from the shop!,” The man was red in the face, he was wearing business attire in all black and his hands were clearly scarred from violent use.
“I wonder if they have Gong Bao chicken?, been a long time since I had Gong Bao chicken,” Stan licked his lips at the thought of devouring several plates of spiced chicken, the man in front of him turned scarlet red at being ignored, he swung the bat full force into Stan. The bat shattered on impact with his stomach, splinters flying in all directions. The man staggered back in shock, his arms trembling while holding the remnants of his weapon.
“You know you shouldn’t be interrupting me when I’m thinking of Gong Bao chicken,” and with that Stan launched the would-be assailant through the air with one large meaty fist, the man crashed in a heap by the black van, twitching and unconscious.
Stan proceeded across the street, knocking to door of the Chinese buffet open and causing the few customers within to jump in alarm. Wiping drool from the corners of his mouth Stan proclaimed in a booming voice;
“The name’s Irongut! And I want all your chickens!”
