What was that sound?

If you answered that it was a giant cockroach fully decked out in classic vibrant pimp regalia tapping his cane on the floor as he waited in the Sanctuary's training room at a formal looking desk for an interview with a wanted felon with a rap sheet a mile and a half long... well... you're clearly clairvoyant. Go save the world or something.

Roach was musing to himself as he tapped his cane. It had been a busy few months. Megan had all but abandoned him, he'd killed off three more competing slum lords, and had driven some charitable events for the community, which painted him as a sort of guardian for the less fortunate in NYC proper. Of course, he could care less about those who were not his own kind, but no one in the public's eye needed to know that.

"Hmm... I don't know what time it is, but I really do feel like he's running late... Bother, I should not have eaten my watch. Oh well, everyone makes mistakes. I've decided he's late." Roach reached down to his interview notes and checked a little box, nodding to himself. He had a wealth of information on the man, and knew from references that we was very good at what he did. Still, how could he hire someone without at least having a little sit down?

And then there was the obligatory show of force; hence, why he'd opted to interview in the training room. If things went as planned, anywhere else might fall apart!

Bacchus yawned as he walked down the hallway to the training room. He’d been this way before and from what he recalled it wasn’t special just another room that you couldn’t really break. Not really impressive, Ulysses his chimp compainion would have gone off on an hour long rant about how great it was but to Bacchus it was just another room. He didn’t really care about it or the sanctuary for that matter. Sure he’d been staying here since he came to America and met his former bikini boned babe but after her and a few others he had known had left things got rather well, dull.

A forty of some cheap beer was in his hand and with a swig he bumped into the nearest mutant this one looked like something out of a Greek mythology movie, one of his favorite kinds given his name and all. This one however didn’t like being bumped into and when he took a swing at Bacchus the giant shifter merely smirked and hardened his skin allowing the punch to connect. With a bullish grunt the guy tried shoving Bacchus but when the giant only kept walking it seemed the minotaur was going to give up. Shame to. Bacchus was supposed to have some kind of interview he was pretty sure he was late to. Would have been nice to have an excuse.

The door to the training room opened and Bacchus walked through sipping his forty and wiping his mouth on his arm. He burped and looked to the giant insect and smirked. ”Don’t think I made you.” Bacchus said with a loud laugh, he of course was reffering to his abilities to supersize smaller insects and animals. ”Nice suit, didn’t know they’d fit on you buggas.” Bacchus said with another sip. ”What’s yer offer eh?”
