Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. You can play as a mutant, human, or Adapted— one of the rare humans who nullify mutant powers by their very existence. Goodies, baddies, and neutrals are all welcome.

A Lesson In Kindness - March 6, 2013, with Paige the Psycho Spork - Blake tries to walk to the mall, and instead bumps into a fist. Paige needs a way to take out her frustration that does not involve random people on the street. (First meeting with Paige.)

Friendship for IDIOTS - March 7, 2013, with Andrea - Blake wants to draw the woman with snakes growing out of her head, because that's cool. Andrea shouldn't be hit on, because she's engaged. Misunderstandings may have occurred. (First meeting with Andrea.)

Everybody's Enemies - May 8, 2013, with Isabel, Sarah, Drew and Rupert - Blake was kicked out for being a mutant, and is therefore a little too busy to bother with why there are riots going on. Isabel doesn't care what some human kid is doing in the park, but she knows a stabbing opportunity when she sees one. Drew and Sarah object to this. Rupert objects to this, and also to having to work with one of those damn muties. Blake climbs a tree.

Persi, in the Mansion

Concept of Rommates: DENIED - May 8, 2013, with Aiden - Persi arrives at the Mansion, entirely gross looking and smelling. Aiden did not want a roommate like this. (First meeting with Aiden)

And Artistic Rescue - May 10, 2013, with Evelyn - Evelyn discovers a fellow artist (no longer bad smelling!) in the Mansion, and shows him where to find free art supplies. (First meeting with Evelyn)

Slowing Down - May 10 2013, with Andrea - Andrea has a nightmare, Persi has a memory. So they eat pancakes.

Very Cheerful, Newbie - May 12 2013, with Mirror - Mirror welcomes Persi to the Mansion, with glares and suspicion. And then amused sympathy, which Persi is suspicious of.

The Missing Link - May 14, 2013, with Cafas - Cafas discovers a new emo brat in the Mansion. He is not impressed. Neither is Persi, but that matters a bit less. (First meeting with Cafas.)

Settling In - May 14 2013, with Andrea - Persi needs clothes. Preferably ones that do not fall off around easily embarrassed gorgons.

Complaining About Rescues They Don't Like - May 15, 2013, with Kaitlyn - A bully doesn't like Persi. Kaitlyn doesn't like bullies. Kaitlyn can explode. Persi isn't sure if he likes being rescued by little girls. Then they chat, a hedge kidnaps Persi, and a trash can explodes. (first meeting with Kaitlyn.)

Welcome to Remedial Gym - May 17, 2013, with Cafas - Persi missed gym class. Cafas is going to fix this. The opportunity to punch the obnoxious brat is entirely coincidental. (Second meeting with Cafas.)

How 'bout dem apples? - May 18 2013, with Cara - Persi Is drawing, Cara is giving out apples. Drinks, discussion of charity, and awkwardness results. Also, the eating of apples.

Whoa - May 19 2013, with Jude - Jude wants a new phone. Getting the phone means winning a contest. A couples' singing contest. Sveta's missing, and Persi's neaby, so onto the stage Persi goes (and why is he going along with pretending to be the boyfriend of someone twice his age)?

Bad Second Impressions - May 20 2013, with Clyde - Clyde and Persi meet again. Their opinions of each other do not improve.

A Hero's Face - May 21 2013, with Aiden - Persi is insecure, so he draws on himself. Aiden wishes he wasn't stuck with such a weird roommate.

Lesson 3: Don't Piss Off Cafas - May 23, 2013, with Cafas and Aiden - Persi is hiding from his lessons. Aiden is dragged into finding him. Cafas decides Aiden gets to stick around. Then emotions happen, and pizza is a good idea.

Perspectives - May 27 2013, with Talon, Werecat and Evelyn - Talon and Werecat do not get along. Persi and Evelyn get caught in the middle. Does being part animal make adults immature?

Replacing Lost Bandaids With Stitches - June 16 2013, with Aiden - Aiden is sick, Persi is oblivious, they maybe don't hate each other as much as they thought. Once they stop arguing about the weather, anyway.
