Butterfly listened as Ty explained why he hadn't been in a mall for a while. She looked at more clothes as they walked through the sections and made their way to the stairs to go to somewhere else. When they went up the stairs and found themselves still in JC Penny and heard Ty exclaim about the size of the store, Butterfly nodded her head in a agreement and then began to look around at a few shirts and pants that caught her eye. She turned around when she heard Ty ask her opinion on an article of clothing. She looked and saw the shirt that he was talking about. She laughed and jokingly said to him, "You gotta have a dark side before someone decides to go and mess with it."

Ty made a funny face, then stuck his tongue out at her before putting the shirt back. "Suit yourself," he teased, then snatched the shirt back off of the rack. "But I'm getting it anyway~" He shot her a wink, then looked around, trying to find something interesting.

"If you see anything you want, you can get it," he told her, looking at what seemed to be a lime-green shirt that was tie-dyed with black. "Trippy..." he murmured before moving over to her. "You find anything?" he asked.

Butterfly stuck her tongue back at him and and shook her head at him when he decided to get the shirt anyway. When he held up the green tie-dyed shirt, she looked at it and smiled. She liked it. While he was browsing, Butterfly had managed to find a couple of dresses and a shirt and a pair of pants.

When Ty asked if she had found anything, she responded with "Sure did." and showed him the dresses, shirt and pants. She walked over and then said "Thank you" and took the lime green tie-dyed shirt from him. "I think that's all I want from here. Lets go see what other stores they have." she said, starting to find a register to get in line at.

While she was gone, Ty'd traded the black shirt for the green one, because honestly he liked that one better. However, when she came back with clothes, he was taken aback when she suddenly snatched his shirt. "Hey! That one was mine!" he teased, but not really doing anything to stop her. Instead he found a shirt that looked almost the same, except it was purple and black instead of lime green.

Then, he walked casually up behind her, and in one motion, grabbed every piece of clothing she had. "Thank you~" he said jokingly before on a more serious note, adding, "Today's on me." With that, he found a place in line, the purple shirt on top of the pile, which he'd draped over his right arm.

"Not anymore" she said jokingly and continued to walk. Suddenly, Ty came up behind her and took all her clothes from her. She noticed that he had traded his black shirt for a green one, but had also picked up a purple and black tie-dyed shirt as well. She really liked that one. She teased Ty a little bit and said to him in a joking manner, "Well since I think you'd look really good in green, I think I'll do you a favor and trade ya the green shirt for the purple. What do ya think? Do we have a deal?" And when Ty told her that today was on him, Butterfly was astonished. Her jaw dropped and she stammered, "You...you didn't have to do that, Ty." blushing slightly as well. This was such a nice surprise. She had never really been able to afford nice clothes and Ty was treating her to clothes shopping. She started to tear up, but she just looked at him and smiled and said, "Thank you"

With a chuckle, Ty nodded. "Sure do. That was the plan, after all~ Well, I didn't know your favorite color, so I kinda had to guess. I remembered seeing purple on your butterfly so...that was that?" So, usually Ty's guessing didn't go over that well, but still.

"I don't have to do anything. I do it because I want to," he replied, making his way to the checkout counter and paying for the clothes. Then, he led her to the escalator out of there, and when they reached the next floor, they were looking at mostly clothing stores, a shoe store, a sunglasses place, and a Victoria's Secret. He noted there were also a few empty spaces, which he really wasn't expecting.

Ty blinked. So..Top Gun Leather, Aeropostale, or the Sunglass Hut?"

Butterfly smiled when he guessed just based on her butterfly coloring. "Good guess." she said and followed him to the escalator and went up to the next floor. She looked around at the stores on this level. She saw a shoe store that she wanted to go to and she also wanted to go to Victoria's Secret. She had to drag him in there. Sure the store had cute stuff, but she had to make him go in there with her. Just to see him squirm.

When Ty gave her the choices of stores to go to. she replied with "How about we go to the shoe store, check out the Sunglass Hut, and then hit up Victoria's Secret?", waiting on his reaction to her choices.

The redhead had to smirk smugly when she told him he guessed right. As they stood there thinking, Ty looked around, thinking the sunglasses hut might be a nice place to drop by, and he actually smiled when she asked about going there, then--

Wait what? He turned to look at her, giving her a funny look. "I like the first idea, but you're not dragging me into Victoria's Secret," he replied, brushing his hair out of his face. "Nice, try, Butterfly."

He shook his head, turning to the sunglasses and walking into the store, looking at the different styles and colors. Victoria's Secret? Not happening. Not in a million years. His life had enough awkward moments without going in there with his sister...

Butterfly laughed hysterically. Oh well, she tried. She still wanted to go so she decided that she would go there while Ty was in the sunglasses place. It wouldn't take her long to get what she needed, but she knew that Ty wouldn't go with her no matter how little of time it took her to get what she needed. She walked around with him for a few minutes, but then she tapped him on the shoulder and said, "Well since you aren't going to go with me to Victoria's Secret, I'm gonna go and get what I need and come back here. So don't leave me please. Also, do you want me to pay for my stuff from there or what?" She asked because Ty did say that today was on him, but she didn't know if he would be offended or not about her paying for her own underwear. While she was there, she decided she might pick up some perfume and lotion as well. Victoria's Secret always had good-smelling perfume and she had been meaning to get some. One of her only friends she had from school had some one time and she let Butterfly have some. Since then Butterfly had wanted to get some and she decided that today would be the day to get it. Besides, a girl could want to smell good, right? She sure didn't wanna go around and smell like she hadn't bathed in days. That was another thing she needed to ask Ty about. She needed to find a place where she could shower. That was the only downside to living in that apartment. No power means no hot water or running water at that.

"Yeah, I gotcha. I'll be here. Thanks for not dragging me," he said, looking over more shades, then pulling out his wallet and handing her a fifty. "Here ya go, and I'll be here when you get back." he smiled as he turned to look through all the shades, and maybe even a few hats.

At least he didn't have to go to Victoria's Secret. Thank God for that.

Butterfly took the fifty from Ty and walked over to the Victoria's Secret. It wasn't far from the sunglasses place so thankfully she wouldn't get lost. She went in and walked around a bit, looking for the things that they had specials on or were on sale. She finally saw the specials deals and looked through the pull outs and found her size and styles that she liked. When she was done picking those out, she walked over to the other section and found a couple of bras that weren't too expensive and then found the perfume she wanted and took it to a counter. She waited in line and after the woman rang up her items, she handed the fifty to the woman and got her change and her bag and went back to meet Ty. She walked back to the Sunglass Hut and looked around a bit before finding Ty. She saw a pair of aviators with blue reflective material on the front. She tried to picture them on her brother. They were perfect. She smiled and went to surprise Ty with what she had found for him and to give him back his change.

Ty let his mind sort of wonder as he cruised the small store and its wall-to-wall sunglasses. There were so many styles, so many shapes and colors, but he really wasn't the shades type of person. It was just something to do to keep from having to look at frilly underwear. The pickpocket shuddered at the thought.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Butterfly coming back, and she had a pair of blue aviators, similar to a pair he'd looked at when he first walked in. "Dude...those actually..." Taking those, and his change, he pocketed the cash and put the shades on, looking in the mirror. "Whatcha think?"

Butterfly gave the shades to Ty and knew the instant he put them on that they would look good on him. She smiled when Ty seemed to really like them and upon being asked what she thought, Butterfly told him "They look really good on you. You should totally get them. They make you look totally badass."

Butterfly looked around for a pair for her, but she didn't know if she really wanted a pair or not. She never really wore shades. After a few minutes of contemplating and coming to the conclusion that she didn't want a pair, she turned to Ty and asked if he was done and what he wanted to do next.

Ty chuckled at her reply, taking the shades and going to the checkout counter. After buying the shades, he looked at her, then at a clock. "Man...we've been here most of the day already? Jeez. I wanna drop by one more store before we head out though."

With that, he headed into the Aeropostale, waiting for her to follow. Once inside, he went straight to the men's section, looking at all the shirts and jackets.

Butterfly followed him to the checkout counter and looked at a clock when Ty mentioned the fact that they had spent most of the day at the mall already. Upon hearing him say this and seeing that indeed Ty was right, Butterfly responded with, "Wow, we have been here for a while. But it's been so much fun spending time with you. I hope you've been having as much fun as I have, Ty." And when Ty said that he wanted to go to one more store, Butterfly said, "Alright." and followed him to where he wanted to go. She saw that he wanted to go to the Aeropostale and walked through the door and went with him to the men's section. She wasn't a really big fan of Aeropostale, so she didn't really look around at any women's clothing, but maybe Ty would find something he liked. She looked around the section to try and find something that Ty might like.
