Butterfly looked at him with seriousness in her eyes, "I may not have known you long, but I trust you. And I trust that you wouldn't do that to me. I know that you don't wanna turn out like that so I know you'll work hard and strive to be something better. And as long as you continue to be my brother and want to spend time with me, then you'll never let me down. And the only way that you would ever leave me and not come back for however long, is the day that I know something has gone wrong. And if that ever happens, then I'll come and find you and be the sister I need to be when you need me the most."

Ty smiled, returning the tiger to his jacket pocket. Her words sank in, and it hit him that no matter what, he didn't have to be alone anymore. He had people who cared about him, who meant the world to him. People he wouldn't trade for anything.
He hugged her, tightly, whispering a small "Thank you." When he finally released it, he looked out the window, into the setting sun. "I should probably get going soon. I need to get all this stuff home and all," he said softly, looking at her.
"I really enjoyed today. Thanks, for everything."

Butterfly smiled and hugged him tight when he hugged her. She heard him whisper Thank you and she just hugged him tighter. When he released her from the hug and said that he had to get going, Butterfly nodded her head. She wasn't happy about him leaving, but she knew that he would be back. She trusted him.
As Ty spoke his final words before leaving, Butterfly replied with, "I did too, Ty. Hope we can do again sometime. And you're welcome, Ty. Anything for my big brother. I love you." She walked him to the door and closed it behind him as he left. Now she was back to just being by herself. She grew more and more to hate being alone.
