The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

The large doors to the War Room swung open with ease. Garrett moved through the room with purpose. Purpose. A thing for which he had longed for far too long. Now, with his injuries mended and his mind fully healed, he was a force to be reckoned with. Dressed in a long black coat which reached to the floor and a high collar, accentuating his shiny skull, he found himself flipping on the lights and preparing his presentation.
Things were finally going to be changing here. Necessary changes for the better which would ensure not only the survival of the Order, but its eventual victory over all who would attempt to put it down. Punching up the display on the audio/visual display, Garrett smiled. Genuine smiles came easy these days. He knew that Syn and Abyss had called this meeting, inviting only himself and Isabel to attend. It was just the kind of portent that made his nerves shiver. He had prepared an outline that seemed to come from his soul, written quickly and madly at first on papers in his office as if the ideas were waiting to be released from their cages.
Now, his notes were refined and the stage was set. He stood proudly by the large screen , foregoing the opportunity to be seated until all were present.
With things happening around the world it was time for the Order to make some refinements. They needed to really make a statement that was bigger than anything they'd done before. They still held an ace up their sleeve in having Haywire, but now they needed to expand and truly show the world that mutants are the new masters. Having a brief text session with her brother she agreed to call a small meeting. Only Isabel and Seizure were the others that were invited. Isabel was a no brainer as she was one of the few remaining original members. Seizure was invited for his drive that Syn could see swelling beneath the man's outer shell.
The War Room doors were open and the lights already turned on. Syn stepped inside and immediately noticed Seizure. He truly did have drive as he looked ready for a presentation. "Nice to see you again Seizure." Syn spoke as she walked directly to her seat. "I'm sure this is going to be most interesting." A wicked smile crossed the girl's face.
Abyss had Let the fella's take the time off, It was a meeting and other then Mars he wasn't sure who else would be all that productive, he was happy to hear that Syn would be receptive to Seizure's Ideas he thought that the at the very least the Order and sanctuary could use the face lift if nothing else. He more than anything saw the day to day lives of many of the mutants around him and the oppression that they were suffering due to it. He didn't however think that they should go all soft however.
Abyss paced down the hallways and through his normal morning routine of checking up on everything ending it on time. HE walked into the Room,
"Syn." He winked at her. He had told her long ago that he would wink at her whenever he had to resist running over and giving her a bear hug. It would embarrass her and probably end up with him having some sort of wound or the urge to punch himself in the face.. "Seizure." He said the names like greetings happy recognitions of their existence. " I suppose we are just waiting On Issabel to show up late?" a smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth. " Plan things about ten minutes earlier then you want her to show and you will have her get here on time." He Walked over to the Coffee machine and began starting up a pot of Coffee. He made it strong.
Isabel wasn't entirely sure what kind of meeting she'd been called to attend. She knew it had something to do with the Order, but the details had certainly been spared. She supposed it was just as well, as it would make the meeting pointless if she'd been filled in before hand. She hoped that it would be interesting in the very least. She never had liked attending meetings, which may have accounted for the liberties she took with her time of arrival. If she showed up early, it just meant that she'd have more to endure. A few minutes late meant a few minutes less talk she'd have to deal with. Not that she'd admit to being late. The way she saw it, she could do what she wanted when she wanted, so long as it was within reason when it came to the Order's secrecy.
It wasn't hard to see that the War Room was already occupied by the time she'd arrived. The lights were on and the doors open. It was hard to miss such familiar voices as well. "I'm never late, thank you very much," she commented, announcing herself as she stepped through the doors, closing them behind her and she arched a brow in Abyss' direction. "I run on my own schedule, and I say I'm on time," she continued, having caught enough of Abyss' last statement while approaching the room to guess what he'd been saying about her. She made a point of sticking her tongue out for childish emphasis.
Shifting her expression into a pleasant smile as she turned to regard the others, she gave a small wave in greeting and moved to take her own seat. Seizure's choice of outfit was certainly intriguing, as was the large screen behind him. Apparently he would be leading whatever discussion they were going to have. "So, what exactly is this meeting about?" she inquired, hoping it would not be a conference that would bore her to tears, as some other in the past had. She always had been one that was more for action, rather than talk.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
One by one, each arrived in their own way. Syn was first, as Garrett had fully expected. He was pleased to see her own pleasure in his rebirth, nodding in a pleasant way to the Queen. " The pleasure is mine, Syn. I hope my presentation will be both interesting as well as informative." He waited for a moment, surveying the room, his chest swelling with pride, both personal and professional. Her brother, the Big Red Machine, entered soon after. The love between the two was impossible to miss. It was this kind of love that would be the glue to put things in order proper. He snapped his heels together as he was noted by Abyss, stepping through the room and standing by the door. Last, but in no way least, dear Isabel arrived, sparkling of fashionable lateness. Her question was perfect and provided a perfect segue.
Closing the doors securely behind her and returning to the front of the room, Garrett spoke. " A most pertinent question, dearest Isabel. One that I hope to answer, at least in part, at this very moment." His little remote came out of a pocket, dimming the lights. He was not concerned about the others' places as the meeting commenced. " No need to be seated right away. Our abilities to remain focused on a common goal while appearing to do otherwise is the essence of my presentation." His focus was so sharp. he was no longer floating in the stream of Now, he was riding the crest of its wave, on the edge between reality and imagination.
With a click of a button, a large building came into view. They would all know it well. Better than Garrett even, he imagined. " King Pharmaceuticals. I am sure I do not need to say much here. I have been poring over our ledgers with a fine toothed comb and am pleased to report that at this time, the funds gleaned from the Knox operation have been completely merged in with KP's profits. The bars, which I happened upon as I did my research, have been literally liquidated, erasing any trace of their origin. This brings up my first and vital point."
A click and the word VISIBILITY appeared in large bold letters. " Before I continue, let me make a disclaimer. I have made some weighty legal changes. I have done these things with the absolute best interest of the Order in mind. You should find some folders in front of you which outline these changes and I will, of course, disclose any and all sources should anyone need clarification. That being said, I would like to explain that I am now the Director of the Sanctuary. The Sanctuary must remain a legal operation. This serves us on many levels. First, it remains as the premier location for those mutants looking for a place to call home where they are welcomed and appreciated for who they are. Second, it gives us yet another front in which to do our money laundering, as putting it all in the hands of KP would be too easy for an audit. Third, it offers us a place to work, as we are now, without scrutiny."
It was coming hard and fast now. These words had waited to be spoken from their master's mouth for his entire life. " Syn, you are now officially the CEO of King Pharmaceuticals. Since the Sanctuary is a non profit organization under the care of KP, this ensures that you remain in charge of everything, while allowing others to deal with operations. Of course, as always, all decisions are subject to your approval. Which brings us to Abyss, who will wear two hats. Sorry it isn't eight, buddy." He allowed a moment for friendly chuckling." You are now President of KP as well as the Chairman of the Board of the Sanctuary Council. This puts you directly in the crossroads of all things Sanctuary and Order related. Isabel, you will remain a resident of the Sanctuary, though I have given you the title of Activities Director. This , of course, means much more than it would sound like to the average layperson. I also assumed that you would prefer to remain out of the public eye. Seizure smiled and winked at the precious slayer.
Another click and the previous word changed to a picture of a red and white chessboard, complete with pieces. Seizure turned on the laser pointer and indicated the pieces as he spoke. "Now, we move to the ranks of the Order proper. Again, these are solely my ideas. I leave the realm of the legal and delve into our natural realm, the illegal. I believe it would be best to establish a hierarchy among the ranks here. This will both mirror our beliefs of natural selection and also let those who wish to join us realize their place in our brave new world." The little red light focused on the queen piece. " The Queen, the most powerful symbol on the chessboard. This would obviously be our Lady in Red, Syn. As the Red Queen, you are the ultimate power among us. To those of us here, this is obvious. Now it will also be obvious to the newly initiated."
The light shifted to the king piece. " The Red King. While not having the freedom of the Queen, capturing the King is game over. Abyss, as the lifeline of the business end of operations and the leader of operations for the Order, no one else could capture this title. Next, the Red Knight. Isabel, while your presence on paper is minimal, your presence in the Order is maximal. You shall now lead a division of our ranks known as the Wetworks, the completely unknown entity, the invisible hand that reaches out and crushes our opposition. I will trust you to enlist those of your...zest for action... to serve you in this capacity. Which bring us to the Red Bishop. Myself. I shall function as the face of the Order, the great OZ who speaks as the wizards behind the curtains give me scripts. I shall also promote community outreach, establishing new fronts from which to enlist new soldiers as well as provide further financial benefits. "
The laser light landed on the end row piece, the Castle. " We still require a final member of our upper echelon, the Red Castle. This person will be head of security at both the Sanctuary as well as at King Pharmaceuticals. I needn't stress how vital it is that this person be one hundred percent loyal to our beliefs, structure, and operations. I hope that the open spot will also encourage our members to truly show their potential, vying for this coveted position. " The light vaguely panned across the lower row of pieces. " This of course leaves our precious pawns, the lifeblood of the Order. The more we have to use, the more we have to gain. In closing, it is vital to my proposal that the public and especially the X-Men and the Kabal only see our new legal face. Our positions in the new Council must remain within our own walls and among our own ears. If we can operate on the surface as a legitimate , functioning business operation, over time, our nefarious reputation will dwindle and only the slights brought upon us by our foes will be seen as a checkmate."
The screen dimmed and the lights hummed back to their normal capacities. Seizure took a seat at the table, looking at the three before him with clear eyes." Thank you for your attention."
Syn smiled and gave her brother as well as her dear friend Isabel a nod upon their entrances. Once Isabel was inside the room the doors were shut, the lights were dimmed and Seizure began speaking. He had slides and a laser pointer to boot.
Getting comfortable and propping her feet up on the table Syn listened and watched intently. Seizure spoke with a zest as if he had been holding back all this information for a very long time. Perhaps he had done just that. Refining his thoughts and possibly speaking with the others about all of this. One thing was certain through the whole presentation. It made Syn smile and a new sense of power washed over her. Though that also happened when she was announced as being CEO of KP as well as being the Red Queen and the most powerful. It was all the dark girl had ever wanted. To be powerful and be supported by those who share the same goal as well as working together as a whole for greater power.
When Seizure finished and finally took a breath Syn started to give a one second count continuous clap three times. "Did you come up with all of this on your own Seizure?" She gave a moments pause though she wasn't really looking for an answer. "I'm very impressed and I agree with this idea. We need to show those pathetic X-losers and the Kabal that we will not just sit by and let them have their way. We are the stronger ones and we will show the world just that."
A grin threatened to make him start laughing but he held his tongue and professionalism in check. He rolled his eyes playfully at Isabel's answer. perhaps talking about her worked just as well as his scheme of changing the time.
He was happy to see seizure take things in hand, he had been beating on him and he cam through.Abyss chimed in where Syn left off. " I also appreciate the subtly of the way we will do it, but that is also gives m a bit of pause for concern , I know we certainly have a knack for showing up in papers and more so enjoy a good bit of action. I think that we might need some training in the way we take control of things, while we further the mutant populace toward domination. I think it is important that we still keep our fierce demeanor at hand. So all and all I must say that I am in full agreement with the plan, I do however think it might take a little getting used to as all transitions do."
" Until we find our castle, I think that the guys could manage to run temporary castle duty. or even leave it in our rook's capable hands."
" I have a couple Ideas about our acquisition of power as well as we move forward I think it would be wise to actively set monthly goal to achieve, and have under way so that we might remain more oriented and efficient."
I also think we would do well to gain a second location as a back up and perhaps out of the cities reach. there is simply to high of a population to ignore that it could become trouble some to hold if we were pressed to do so for an infinite amount of time.I think that is all I have to add for now."
Isabel settled down into her chair to listen and observe as the presentation promptly followed her entrance. Casually she crossed her ankles beneath her chair and leaned her elbows on the table, threading her fingers together before resting her chin on them. She appreciated the visual aids that Seizure had prepared to go along with the speech he presented. It gave her mind something to focus on along with his words and to prevent it from wandering at all. Though she didn't expect her thoughts would have strayed very far in this particular meeting. When it had been said that the conference was about the Order, she hadn't imagined it was anything of this magnitude. She liked it.
She listened attentively as Seizure continued to speak and explain his ideas for the trio, some of which had already been put into motion. She liked the sound of all of it and found great interest in the proposal that the Order be split into sections with a different head for each, herself included. And while her interest in the legal aspect of everything didn't hold as strongly as her interest in her personal involvement in all of this, she still appreciated the amount of thought and planning that had gone into figuring it all out. She had known that Seizure had brains after her first encounter with him, but she'd never imagined that he'd go to such lengths for her beloved Order. Her respect for him was easily rising.
A small tilt of the head was given as she was assigned a duty. She didn't seem to have any part in KP, her duties remaining instead at the Sanctuary. She couldn't really say she minded. She'd hardly given KP a second thought since the battle had ended. Besides, she'd have enough on her plate with the responsibility she was being given on its own. Her disposition and self-absorption might get a little too far into the way of effectively helping to run King's business. She gave a grin to the following statement.
The more in depth explanation of her position as Red Knight easily earned her approval. She very much liked that she'd remain deeply involved in the Order, particularly because she would be allowed not only to have her fun, but to invite others along to share it with her. Remaining anonymous would be a challenge, but she assumed that as long as her division itself remained unseen, there shouldn't be any larger problems that couldn't be sorted out. The crushing certainly sounded promising. She liked crushing things. Especially if those things included the X-Nerds.
Isabel was still grinning widely as the presentation ended and the lights were turned back up, her attention shifting from one Order member to the next as they spoke. "I love these ideas. You're very talented, Seizure," she chimed in as a response to the presentation, removing her elbows from the table and instead leaning back in her chair for a more comfortable position as they talked things out. "I like the idea of a second location, too. Not only for issues with population, but with popularity. While the Sanctuary is certainly a place for mutants to retreat in order to find a welcoming environment, the humans might not see it in the same way, especially with past events like the Police Massacre. A second, lesser known, stronghold could be beneficial in some way."
The one things that was nagging at her mind was trying to decide upon a Red Castle. She of course had high opinions of many of her Orderlings, but she wasn't always positive when it came to loyalties. She of course expected and assumed the best of them, but she'd been proven wrong in the past. "Do we have anyone that's currently in the Order that could fill the Castle's position, or are we going to have to wait until the right candidate comes along?"
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
The rush of success had Seizure's nerves tingling. While he had suspected a degree of consent among them, he had no idea that his ideas would be taken so well. He did his best not to let the praise go to his head, though he did smile and thank them for their approval. " I have been isolated in my office for some time. At first, this was due to my internal struggle. Once I could see the light at the end of that particular tunnel, I focused fully on the task at hand. While I did come up with these ideas on my own, it was the Haywire that gave me the fuel to push beyond my normal limitations and get a glimpse of something greater. In that sense, you are all as responsible for my ideas as I am."
Abyss brought up some excellent points. Seizure was glad to have some of the focus taken off him, as the discussion was meant for all of them. The idea of a second base of operations was excellent and totally caught him off guard, as he had never thought of such a thing. " A second base is a superb idea. Though I have no idea where a suitable location would be. I will certainly give it thought. As far as the castle duty, I believe rotating out people would be an excellent idea, so we can get a feel for the people who may be interested in such a task. As long as we don't go posting flyers about Castle applications, it should all work out." He chuckled a bit, though a part of him was serious.
" As far as candidates, I must admit that I am generally unaware of the new people. Being locked up in my office working on all of this has kept me out of sight. Do any of you know who is new?" The mention of new faces brought a question of his own to mind. "Oh, by the way, who is Elle? She has some sort of gift related to electricity. The reason I mention is I met her recently after bringing in a mutant who had been injured and doctoring her up. She said she only used this place as a weekend retreat, yet she has a room. I need to know about everyone who is staying here. Perhaps you three could help me get a list together of all of the current residents. I need to start checking them all out as these plans begin to take effect. You never know when there is a snake in the grass." They had nothing but work ahead of them. Some of the changes and policies would probably not go over well with some of the people living there. Too bad.
Something had completely slipped his mind with all of the excitement for his ideas. " Oh yes, one other thing I would like to mention for you to chew on. I believe it would be best to make a rank called an Aspirant, or something similar, to denote those interested in joining us but are not full members yet. A probationary trial period, where we decide if they are right for us and they decide if we are right for them. This would give us a chance to see the person iin action as well as give us time to study their strength of character. It occurred to me since I was once an X-Man trainee. It's one of the few things that work over there." That was more than enough. He stood and poured himself a cup of the strong, steaming coffee and returned to his seat.
Her brother and Isabel added their thoughts to the whole idea. Both of which sounded equally excited about this new direction for the Order. They also agreed to their designated titles and they fit them well. Syn nodded in acknowledgement to Seizure's explanation for his thoughts. "You've done very well my dear Seizure." Syn directed herself to the others as well now. "I agree with having a secondary base and I'll leave picking it's location to you dear brother. I do suggest you ensure it is heavily fortified. In regards to the lists of residents I'm sure between Abyss, Isabel and Lisa we can make an up to date roster."
Syn tilted her head to the right in thought for a moment. "I like the idea of an Aspirant in hopes that we can find our Castle, but why not have two Castles? I personally think it would be easier to ensure Sanctuary and KP's protection if each had its own devoted Rooks. As for who might be good for such positions I'm not sure as I haven't seen any of the new mutants in action."
“talent with a side of modesty, we do not see that around here enough. Maybe at all.” He laughed lightly at the fact.
***"Do we have anyone that's currently in the Order that could fill the Castle's position, or are we going to have to wait until the right candidate comes along?"
~~" As far as candidates, I must admit that I am generally unaware of the new people. Being locked up in my office working on all of this has kept me out of sight. Do any of you know who is new?"
Abyss simply nodded to this question but obviously wasn’t going to start simply naming off every single person in the order. Besides it might take him a few to gather up all the names he knew….did he know them all?
~~ "Oh, by the way, who is Elle? She has some sort of gift related to electricity. The reason I mention is I met her recently after bringing in a mutant who had been injured and doctoring her up. “Hmmm, Electri and elle, I know an l. was she blond and sassy? If so I am guessing the L was for Lori. One of my brothers is fond of her, a bit too much in my opinion. Though she is one of those that would be better to keep at our side even if loosely tied. The girl is highly dangerous and packs a hell of a punch. If my assumptions off who we are talking about are the same.”

“I will see if I can’t work out a list of who all we have currently. Though before I start I will say that one of our youngest members who proves herself to be viciously loyal, might do well in the position, I think our only issue might be on we have right here,” he tilted his head in Isabel’s direction. “She is creative in her violence and believe me I know this comes off hypocritical as I have done more than my fair share of grabbing attention with a violent display. But she would also be more than efficient and we wouldn’t have the slightest worry about where she stands. There is also Pix, while she Is a bit unpredictable she has the skills to keep an eye on the whole of the sanctuary, with her minions.“
He reached under the table and pulled out a pencil and paper. And began to jot down names. he spoke further as he wrote.
“as far as Location I think that something nt actually in the city would be best, I have no problem with suggestions and opinions of course. After all that is what this meeting is all about.” He offered a conciliatory smile to his sister to placate any insult his disagreement with taking on the sole responsibly of location up might cause.
His note looked something like this. the potential members where a compalation of people that he had heard about or seen around.
Official members, i.e.(red) some are past members or hardly active in our group . Abyss Amp/Vibe: MIA Anthony Aura Dragon king MIA EVOX Geo Gore Isabel Giants Bane Lelia Lori Meld packmaster Pix Seizure Shade Syn
Potential (some are just waiting to be made official Max peterson Ana Kettler Bear Fiona Hull Hymn ( I am lost about where she lines up) Jaxon (I think we could get David if we wanted him)
He slide the list across to Isabel and then the pen. " That look about right to you?"
Casually Isabel reclined a bit in her seat as everyone continued to say their piece, her attention shifting from one to the other as turns were taken to offer suggestions, pose and answer questions, and straighten out details. For once she was not in the least bit bored having to attend a mandatory meeting. Her adoration for her fellow Orderlings could only grow in such situations. It was fantastic to see what they could all come up with.
The one idea she was a little conflicted about was the proposal of creating Aspirants. She wasn't so sure she wanted to follow the X-Men in any kind of procedure when it came to helping to run the team. However, she knew that it would make things easier on both the Order and it potential members, so she would have to put aside her own personal opinions of the X-Fools. "I think having Aspirants sounds like a good idea," she said, deciding on leaving any mention of the X-Nerds out of it. "I guess it really isn't fair to ask someone's complete loyalty before they even know what the group's really about, isn't it?" She'd never really thought about what they'd been asking of their members. She'd agreed almost immediately to join King's group when she'd found her way to the Sanctuary and met the man. She's never questioned her own loyalty, so she'd never though it would be much of an issue with any of the others.
Abyss seemed to be the only one that offered up names for the position of the Castle, though the others certainly couldn't be blamed for not doing so as well. She was curious as to what he was writing, but his words attracted the majority of her attention. She knew of the girl to which he was referring. Aura most certainly was a fierce member of the Order, both in actions and in loyalties.
The volunteering of herself by the Big Guy was a bit of a surprise to her. She already had a title, would two be possible? The larger issue would perhaps be if she could hold that amount of responsibility, as she was fairly good at wandering off at her leisure and causing problems with her playmates. She was perhaps a little too high maintenance to be head of security.
The addition of Pix to the list was perhaps the name that most appealed to her. While she'd never met the woman personally, she'd certainly heard of her abilities. "More eyes would make for better coverage, and the poisonous variety of insects would add an extra bonus if they come across intruders. Pix's abilities would probably be the most beneficial for the position, though I can't judge her character as I've never met her before."
At this point she turned her attention down to the paper that was slid aver to her, taking in the names that had been scribbled down and searching her mind for any others that could be added. "David," she said, placing a finger close to the name as it drew her attention. "I've met a David. I mean, I'm sure there's more than one in the city, but I've met one not far from here. A little taller than me, brown hair, kind of skinny. We didn't get along too well. I'm sure we could find a place for him, but I don't think he'd be willing to play with those of us in Wetworks." He'd been preachy enough about Bane's method of dealing with people, and she doubted he'd like her own methods much more. "Other than that, the list looks pretty complete to me," she concluded, sliding the paper in turn toward Syn and Seizure, should either of them be interested in reviewing it.
I’m just a well-adjusted gal who likes to leave a serious amount of mayhem in her wake.
There was a good energy among the four of them as real plans were being made. No longer would threats be idle in the face of enemies. It brought a pleasant grin to Seizure's face as he perused the list himself. First, the list of present and inactive members. His finger traced down the line as he had something to say on most of them. Whether his recommendations or comments fell on deaf ears was irrelevant. Talking out loud to himself sometimes occurred sporadically when he was generally excited about a thing. " I have to admit, many of these names are foreign to me. I will make a point to meet and greet with as many of the members soon, be they past, present or future ones. I do like the idea of Isabel running the Castle duty at KP. I think it would work just as well if we could house Wetworks facilities in the sub-basements of KP and begin a series of tunnels from here to there, as needed."
His fingers obsessively tapped on the names, some more than others. " I will get to work on cleaning this list up a bit, ensuring who still is with us and isn't. I will also see if I can't find some of these possibles and make them probables. I will schedule Pix for an interview to see if she is willing to guard the Sanctuary while I am at it. Kp could serve as an excellent go between until we pin down this second base of operations. It also keeps Isabel's minions out of the limelight while keeping them close should we need them."
Syn listened intently to the others. Each one had some very good ideas and overall they all seemed to be in agreement of how things were going to work from now on. It was truly a big step for the Order on all accounts, but it would be their step into the future. "Many of the names on the list are unknown to myself as well, however I'm sure we can work with what we have as well as recruit others."
Turning her attention to Seizure now Syn continued. "I agree to give Pix a chance to be Castle for Sanctuary. She can cover many areas all at once. I also agree to have Isabel come with me to help protect KP. We work well together and I'm confident in her abilities. I will also be taking Fiona with me as my assistant. As for the suggestion of keeping Wetworks in the lower levels of KP for now...that won't be a problem. I'll have things prepared for their use." The newly titled Red Queen gave the others a quick look. "Is there anything else we need to discuss or are we all in agreement?"
"So the red head is with us already, well then? I suppose we need to move Fiona up on that list." He motioned to the list that made its way around the table with Fiona as potential. "With all this in mind, and all we need to accomplish, the four of us need to get together a bit more as we would work better with shared knowledge, keep all of us on the same base."
Abyss looked at the others. " shall we do this on a quarterly basis? meet back here every three months to keep each other updated?"
He paused and then pondered momentarily. " of course there isn't anything stopping us from doing so intermittently, but I think that a planned meeting would do us well, "
He nodded confidently and held up his coffee. "To the future and us pulling its strings."
He would start shopping for land. He wanted something along one of their mountain ranges.
