The X-men run missions and work together with the NYPD, striving to maintain a peaceful balance between humans and mutants. When it comes to a fight, they won't back down from protecting those who need their help.
Haven presents itself as a humanitarian organization for activists, leaders, and high society, yet mutants are the secret leaders working to protect and serve their kind. Behind the scenes they bring their goals into reality.
From the time when mutants became known to the world, SUPER was founded as a black-ops division of the CIA in an attempt to classify, observe, and learn more about this new and rising threat.
The Syndicate works to help bring mutantkind to the forefront of the world. They work from the shadows, a beacon of hope for mutants, but a bane to mankind. With their guiding hand, humanity will finally find extinction.
Since the existence of mutants was first revealed in the nineties, the world has become a changed place. Whether they're genetic misfits or the next stage in humanity's evolution, there's no denying their growing numbers, especially in hubs like New York City. The NYPD has a division devoted to mutant related crimes. Super-powered vigilantes help to maintain the peace. Those who style themselves as Homo Superior work to tear society apart for rebuilding in their own image.

Aura listened to Dragon Kings story, Humans were the result of his pain as well. She wondered if his brothers would have had the same powers that he did. Humans really did seem to be the root of most of the worlds pain in her view. Making their way to the training Room, Aura grew excited, Combat helped her unload stress and it was an enjoyable pass time. She was hoping with training her ability would grow in it's ability to take damage and form sharper blades. The More she trained the better she would get, the the better she was, the more useful she would be.
Upon entering the training room, she looked around, already a subtitle pink aura, emanated from her skin, as she walked to the middle of the room, her emerald eyes taking it all in.Slipping her hands behind her she tied her hair back, before letting her aura out, the pink glow increased untill it was about two inches from her skin. On her Hand, a blades formed stretching bout six inches past her finger tips, it was the maximum length she could extend it. Looking Down at the blade, it flowed, reshaping itself to form a spike mace like object over her fist.
"The main, flaw is with how much force the barrier can take at once" She said to Dragon King as she turned to face him again, her right hands aura, shifted to take the form of a set of pincer like objects."My favorite is still the sword" she said, stretching a bit.

Dragon King liked the training room. The room had immensely tall ceilings, with hand holds up some of the walls. Here and there along the walls there were indentations in the wall that were covered by curtains. The floor of the room itself was slightly sprung and had a few arenas marked out.
Dragon King could see that she was excited; one did not need to be a genius to see that Aura enjoyed sparring.
“Hmmm, well I will do my best to oblige.” Said Dragon King as he walked towards one of the walls of the training room and in one motion pulled back one of the curtains to reveal a rack holding various weapons. Most of them involved a spear point at one end and something at the other, such a mace or double halberd, but there were exceptions to one side there was what looked like two cannon balls linked by a long chain and then there were some swords of various types.
Dragon King walked over to the rack, pushed his sleeves up, in the process revealing well toned sinew and muscle, and with a slight grunt hefted one out. It was the one that had a mace at one end and a spear tip at the other.
“These weapons were used by generals in the old days either when they were on horse back or on foot. The long reach of the weapon helped to keep them from being mobbed and also gave them extra leverage in order to shatter and break armour. I will try to only hit to the side of you or just in front of you. Don’t worry about breaking these weapons, there are plenty more where they came from.”
“Are you ready?”
With that, Dragon King let out a war cry and swung his weapon. The mace whistled down towards Aura’s left, seeming intent on striking her shoulder, but at the last moment DK’s hands altered the movement and the head changed from going down to going sideways. He pivoted with his weapon, seemingly exposing his back for all to see. Just as his back was to her he plunged the weapon backwards, the spear tip whistling towards her, the tip pointed unerringly at her throat.
As it was about to hip the point suddenly moved upwards, as DK pivoted the weapon vertically in his hands, bringing the mace head in a vertical swing from bottom up.
Thus it continued, with this weapon one could not do a flurry of attacks at high speed, but what one could do was to maintain a flow, and that he did, the wind whistling around him, as he hammered Aura’s aura.
After about half an hour, he backed off with a shout and stopped. “How was that?” He asked breathing heavily, but not apparently winded or tired yet.
As Aura's eyes overlooked the weapons in the rack, she quickly realized she had seen very few of the more exotic weapons such as the one Dragon King lifted up for his own use. They were weapons used by the generals of old she was in formed, still she had trouble seeing the practical use with her own powers. Still she could certainly see their use. "That would make sense, and with that one, you could easily strike on the back stroke as well as the first" She said, the weapon was deserving of admiration.
She was ready, DK was quick, she also noticed the weight of the weapon kept DK from attacking in a series while still giving him in easy flow that seemed to utilize the momentum of the weapons weight. Her Aura took the blows though she skidded back with some of the blows, the weapon a bit harder and in DKs hands stronger then she was use to dealing with. Still she was able to establish her own rythem to the pace of the blows.
When he backed off, she stopped right away, she had been tought long ago to eliminate the time between thought and action when it came to fighting. "It felt good actually, it's been a few months" She said honestly. She was unused to dealing with weapons such as this, more use to guns and the like, weapons humans normally used, though she had noticed a good number of Mutants used these types of weapons instead.
"The more i use my aura the more damage it should be able to take, one day i plan to be able to carve a path through the heavens them selfs" She said not really believing in a religion but the words sounded good to her. She brought her hand out in front of her, and shifted her aura from a sword, to a mace, to an Axe, it was a habit she had established shortly after being inducted into Miracles group. "How did you get so good with such weapons" She asked curiously, his skill seemed to hint he had some training with these weapons. She was ready for more of this, she was smiling enjoying the freedom the training provided.
