MRO is an intermediate to advanced writing level original character, original plot X-Men RPG. We've been open and active since October of 2005. Haven organizes quite a treat in a massive charity fundraiser and volunteer thank you Masquerade party for Halloween! Costumes are required as are tickets! While the political and wealthy are encouraged to donate a sizable amount for their tickets, fixtures of the community and celebrated students/trainers/volunteers are awarded VIP tickets for free! Regular tickets are affordable enough that anyone should be able to participate. All are encouraged to come celebrate!
But uh oh, looks like someone wants to spoil the fun! Eight years ago Christanna Addams powers' burst forth during a Halloween celebration at Central Park making all take on the persona of their costume! They stopped the then 11 year old and the role she'd accepted in a psychotic rage: Nyx Goddess of the Night and Dreams. While she's grown tremendously, not nearly enough has changed for her liking and she's got more than a few tricks planned!
A series of threads (depending on involvement) at these location(s) to party/celebrate, enjoy having your character act like their costume, and for those who choose to: activity in stopping Christanna.
HOW THIS AFFECTS MRO
1. The event will be localized to those attending the party 2. Varied interaction by any individuals involved 3. A chance to flex some writing muscle with the varied persona due to the costume 4. Possible combat situations against crazed patrons or Christanna's forces 5. Short term impact of political discussions 6. Long term impact of addressing dangerous psionic mutants as well as the political impact

You'll just have to buy a ticket for any character unless you think they'd get a free invite because they're very active in the community, big donator to liberal charities, help with educational initiatives, etc. etc. All can participate!
Luke will definitely attend, with some kind of costume (though does he really need one? :P) and will definitely be involved in dealing with Christanna, which will be the second time he's been present for costumes-gone real. I'm sure he'll be delighted!

I’m volunteering Lenna! SUPER is providing the alias and the ticket, as a way to infiltrate the Haven event and create networking opportunities for Lenna. She will be both in-costume, and in-character in character, in a disguise over a disguise. Because SUPER wants to mask her MRO self’s identity by providing a new one, and a new face. What a happy opportunity to masquerade as someone new and practice the role!
Lenna will happily fight Christianna or her forces, should the need arise.
I am thinking Princess Leia as a costume, right now. The senator will be an excellent diplomat in this dangerous situation, costume or no.
Just want to clarify that all are encouraged to participate! Assume an affordable price for the ticket so that anyone can come; all money goes to charity, etc. etc. However, you might want to be working as staff, sneak in from the water, etc. However you want to work it in!

I'm not really picky, but as an afterthought... what if Jack's role at the party was acting as a bodyguard for Devon? Would that be okay? In which case she'd be wherever he is. Otherwise i'm not picky.
