The Bug Who Blew Up the World[AoS Finale]

Speaker:-Static- My children... I will be honest... This will be my final broadcast. Nearly three years ago, the world changed in a baptism of fire. Most died, but our little square of land remained untouched. Some say it was through the intervention of powerful mutants. Others say it was just dumb luck. What we soon found, though, was that we were the only ones left; the rest of the world was an uninhabitable wasteland.

This new world we found ourselves in was harsh, my children. Many were weak, and thus the wasteland defeated them, but you... You were so strong... As the world crumbled around you, you climbed on the bodies of the dead and you survived, and believe me, you were brave.

I am so proud of each and every one of you...

But this world. It is broken. It is WRONG. Can you feel it? It's as if this is a nightmare with no escape. Perhaps, though... I can make it right... There will be no fights tonight. Instead, I will tell you a story.

It's about a girl who was strong, just like you... She was strong, and she was so, so beautiful... Her trials and tribulations throughout these few years made her even more beautiful. I recently went to visit her... And she was dead. Hand in hand with the one she loved, she lay cold on the ground. But on her face... On her face I saw a smile. A real smile. Did you know, my family, that in the years I have ruled my patch of land, this was the first time I'd ever seen someone at peace?

It dawned on me then... We... We were never meant to survive. We are the ghosts haunting a world that only wants to sleep forever alone. I can, and will let it have it's wish.

So close your eyes... Or find someone you love and kiss them deeply. In ten seconds, the end of the world will finally be complete.
